As soon as the door opened two young kids ran past us.

"JAMES GIVE ME BACK MY IPAD!" The girl screamed. She looked kind of like John, but didn't have as many freckles, and her hair was lighter and shorter.

"Ha noPe!" The kid, who I assume is James, said before running away. He looked just like a mini John, but with shorter hair.

"James, give your sister her iPad back!" Eleanor exclaimed, face palming. She turned to me. "Sorry about that, John probably have them sugar again."

I laughed slightly. The girl from earlier stopped in-front of me. "John is in the living room with Laf and Herc. I'll take your bags. I'm Mary, by the way!"

Before I could object, Mary took the bag from my hand. She pointed towards a room, which I assume is the living room, before running up the stairs. I made my way towards the living room.

It was a mess.

But a good mess.

There was a large couch, which must be a pull out, because it was changed into a bed. Hercules and Laf both laid on it, eating popcorn together. There was another couch, which was not made into a bed. John sat in the corner, next to another kid who looked only a few years younger than us. He had very few freckles, and lighter hair, much like Mary. John had a big plate of cookies next to him, and there was many pillows and blankets littered across the floor. There was a tiny fort next to the couch. They all wore onesies, John wore a turtle one, Herc wore a horse one, and Laf wore one a baguette one.

Once Laf noticed me in the door way, he jumped up.

"Alex! Joyeux Noël!" He exclaimed.

(Translation: "Alex! Merry Christmas!")

I laughed. "You too, Laf!"

"Hey Alex! Welcome to my home!" John said, giving me a large smile, just like his mom.

"Thanks for inviting me." I said, already happier than I was when I was home alone.

"Did you bring a onesie?" Herc asked.

"Surprisingly, I did." I shrugged. They all gasped.

"Go get changed!" John exclaimed. The pointed down the hall and towards a door. "That's the bathroom."

"I don't know where my bag is... your sister took it."

John sighed. "Which one?"

"Mary? How many siblings do you have?!" I exclaimed.

"Four." He answered simply. My mouth dropped. "MARY! WHERE DID YOU PUT ALEX'S BAG?"

"YOUR ROOM, DIPSHIT!" She yelled back. Herc, Laf, and I all broke out laughing.

"LANGUAGE!" The kid who sat beside John yelled.

"Oh, this is Henry, by the way!" John said, motioning to the kid who yelled.

"Nice to meet you!" I said giving a small smile.

"You too." Henry answered. "I'll go get your bag."

"Okay, thanks!" I smiled. John's siblings are nice... even if his family is loud.

I awkwardly stood, not exactly sure where to sit. John noticed this and motioned for me to sit next to him. I did as he asked.

Henry brought down my bag and I changed into my lion onesie.

When I reached the living room Laf gasped. "You look so cute!"

I laughed slightly.

"Nice onesie, man!" Herc said, laughing slightly.

John was the only one who hadn't said anything. I looked over at him to see him hiding his face with a pillow.

"John?"

"Y-you look good."

I shrugged it off. We all decided to turn on a movie. We argued about it for awhile, until we finally agreed on the Nightmare Before Christmas.

Well we watched the movie, we talked. It turns out that every year on Christmas Eve Laf and Herc would come over to John's house. It was almost like a tradition.

And now I'm apart of this tradition.

I smiled at the thought.

I met all of John's siblings, who were really funny. I noticed that James and John were really close, which was cute. Actually, he was close with all his siblings. It's really cute-

I was brought out of my thoughts by the feeling of somebody laying against me. I looked down to see John laying on top of me, asleep.

I smiled, and dozed off too.
