"So you fucked Judah before you went to see Kyle?" Leah asked. "Yeah. I had a moment of weakness and he was available. He drops everything to be around me. It's weird". Serenity drank some more of her coffee on the restaurant patio. "He wants that old thing back," Leah jokes. "I don't," Serenity rolled her eyes. "He acknowledges that we're different people, but doesn't want to accept the fact that it means our priorities and the things we want from life have changed. He thinks we're still operating like we were in high school. He's still pursuing dentistry and living a life that was planned for him. I obviously do what I want".

"Maybe that's who you should go for. You know, since you blocked Kyle," Leah shrugs. She takes a bite of her macaron and makes a face of displeasure, but continues to eat it. "You're familiar with him and dentists make good money". Serenity drinks more of her coffee. "No. Judah and I had this discussion when we were dating and that's part of the reason I broke up with him. He wanted me to convert so our children would be Jewish. Never once asked if converting or children was something I was interested in. He just assumed because it was what he wanted. Judah has good dick, but he's controlling. I'm not going down that road again".

Leah continued to eat her order of macaroons. "So tell me, how did LA go?". Serenity ripped off a piece of her croissant and ate it. "It was really nice! I'm actually surprised at the amount of effort that went into making sure I enjoyed my time there". Serenity ripped off another piece of the croissant and popped it into her mouth. "What did you guys do?". Serenity took a sip of her coffee. "We did an architectural tour of downtown Los Angeles. Then he took me to some steakhouse. The next day was when I called you. I just went shopping and went to the game like I told you. Then the last day we went to the beach. That was it".

Leah eyed her suspiciously. "You guys didn't fuck?". Serenity sighed, "We did". Leah motioned her hand at Serenity. "Then that wasn't it". Serenity rolled her eyes. Leah had been in a mood because things weren't going as she planned with D'Angelo Russell. She got like this sometimes so Serenity knew to just ignore her. "How was the sex?". Serenity shrugged. "Nothing special". That was a lie and she knew it. Serenity had some great sex in the past, but it felt so different with Kyle. It was not only amazing, but she felt herself becoming bonded to him during the process. "Was he big?" Leah asked. "Average". That wasn't a lie.

"It sucks that he caught feelings and you had to block him". Leah went back to eating her macaroons as she began reading her horoscope. The truth was that Serenity didn't block Kyle at all. They had been talking steadily since she arrived back home. They were even planning on seeing each other when he played her home team in a few weeks. She was hesitant to tell Leah because she was under the impression that she wasn't going to date a player again. And it's not like Serenity wanted to date Kyle. She just wanted to have a little fun and get tricked on. She would remain at a comfortable distance as not to get too attached to him. It doesn't hurt to have feelings for someone, just don't let it go too far. So because of that, why tell Leah? It wasn't her business anyway.

"So give me the rundown on your situation with D'Angelo? What's really going on?" Serenity asked so she wouldn't mention Kyle anymore. "This nigga is really starting to piss me off. He keeps pushing off when he's going to see me. I told him when he comes into town to play a game, that we could have a little session. Of course I told him I would be wanting money. He then goes on about how I only want him for his money and that off-season is better because then he can have me come out for a week. One: nigga your money is really your only redeeming quality. He's a dog ass nigga who can't do shit for me but trick on me. Two: I make the rules. If I say I want to see you when you come here, you better find a way to see me. I'm not some jump-off. I didn't put all this work in for him to do this to me. I refuse to add another useless body to my collection". Leah angrily took a bite of the last macaroon.
