Dani and Serenity watched the demonstration from Rabia, who worked in the rehab center at Manner-Meyer. Today's lesson was on hydrotherapy and it's benefits to the body. "This week's modules will be the longest ones you guys probably encounter while you're here. They take up most of the day leaving us with only a couple of hours for you guys to acquaint yourself with the equipment". The girls looked at the large metal tub as Rabia explained the different equipment. "Patients have the option of fully submerging themselves in the tub or using the adjustable chairs that are available. This adjustable suspension seat," she pointed at the metal bench in the tub, "Is for lower back and lower extremity issues. We would have the advent age defoamer to work as a skin moisturizer, but because of California and Proposition 65, we are not allowed to use it. And because of Proposition 65, we also aren't allowed to use excessive amounts HydroChlor so we just do a very small amount of chlorine in the tubs to keep bacteria from growing".

Dani and Serenity were furiously taking notes as Rabia explained the benefits of hydrotherapy and how to operate the tubs. When the clock hit 4:30, Rabia sighed and shook her head. "Never enough time. You guys will apply what you learned this week starting on Monday. We have patients that agreed to be a part of the training program. Ibrahim and I will be overseeing the two of you and evaluating your work and making sure that you're fully grasping what you've been learning". She smiled at the two of them and dismissed them.

"This is actually a lot harder than I thought it was going to be," Dani said as she grabbed her Nine West bag out of her locker. "Yeah, it's definitely more than I anticipated". Serenity grabbed her purse and glanced at her lock screen. Two messages from Aaron and a missed call from Leah. She stuck the phone in her purse. Ibrahim walked in with Rabia as their shifts had ended early today. "Since we're not on the floor I can say this. All of us are going out for drinks later on, around 6 I believe. You two are more than welcome to come," Ibrahim said.

Dani and Serenity had been shocked with how friendly and inviting the staff members at the rehab center had been. At Sacred Heart, no one really wanted to be bothered which is why Dani and Serenity gravitated towards each other. When they first walked in on Monday, everyone greeted them and let them know how excited they were to meet them. They were just two physical therapists from the Midwest who were using outdated equipment at their ancient hospital that refused to budget for the rehabilitation department. Why would these Californians at a nationwide top rated hospital with top of the line equipment and money for every department care about them?

"I think that would be fun," Dani said. "We'll be there". Dani and Serenity walked through the lobby and noticed a car outside the doors. "They know they can't park there right?" Dani said as they walked out the door. The drivers side door opened and Kyle came out of the car. Serenity squealed and ran over to him. She hugged him and they kissed for what seemed like forever. Rabia and Ibrahim walked out and stood next to Dani as they observed what was happening. "Her boyfriend drives a Ferrari?" asks Ibrahim. "Serenity's back needs alignment," Rabia says causing Dani to look at her.

"What are you doing here?" she asked when they finally stopped kissing. "I'm picking you up today. I have something very special planned for us". Serenity took a step back and frowned. "Did I say something wrong?" Kyle asks. "No it's just, Dani and I were going to go for drinks later on with our coworkers". Is she really putting her coworkers before me? "But, I guess they'll just have to take a rain check because I just adore spending time with you," Serenity smiled as she booped Kyle on the nose. The group stopped observing and walked over to the pair. Rabia, who was strangely robotic, stuck out her hand. "Rabia Sukhera". Kyle shook her hand, finding her to be a little strange. "Kyle Kuzma".

"You play for the Lakers right? I think I've heard my husband and his brothers mention your name a few times". Kyle smiled knowing that his name was the topic of conversation. "They would like to see a lot more from you in this upcoming season". His excitement quickly dissipated. Ibrahim introduced himself next. "Ibrahim al-Mahdi". They shook hands and Kyle greeted Dani. "I'm sorry guys. I won't be able to make it to drinks tonight," Serenity apologizes. "We get drinks every Friday. You can always come next week," Ibrahim said. "I will make sure to be there next Friday," she smiles. Serenity hugs Dani before she walks off to the company car.
