Kakashi led Yuma down the halls as she skipped beside him, smiling cheekily at all the angry looking patients' faces.

"I'm free and your not~," she sang loudly, even though they couldn't hear her. "I should have killed you all~!" She added, throwing her hands in the air. Kakashi stared at her in disbelief.

She paused beside the curiously dark spit on the floor and grabbed Kakashi's hand, pointing at it excitedly as Kakashi resisted the strong urge to tear his hand away from hers.

"You see that, eh? See it Bakashi?! I stabbed another 'patient' there. He bled to Death right where you're standing!" She chirped, grinning proudly as Kakashi subconsciously stepped a foot to the right.

They continued through the halls, Kakashi avoiding the eyes of any patients as Yuma made mocking faces at them. Finally, after many minutes of Yuma telling Kakashi about how many patients she had murdered, they made it to the front desk, where a new man sat.

Kakashi instantly remembered him as one of the men that led the previous desk-man away.

This man was larger built, his muscles probably the size of Kakashi's head and he had an eyepatch covering his left eye.

"Hello, Len," said Yuma with a strange smile as she jumped up and sat on the desk, swinging her legs back and forth carelessly. "I see your eye is still gone."

"I don't know why they're letting you out of here, you little bitch," growled the man, glaring at Yuma harshly, though Kakashi could have sworn the man was slowly edging away from her. "If it were my say, I'd have handed you over to the executioner."

"I'd have done the same, had I been sane," replied Yuri. "However, I'm out now, and there's nothing you can do about it, Lenny."

"I'll do everything in my power to get you back here and hung, I swear it." Said the man, glaring harder.

Kakashi, deciding it best to cut their not-at-all playful banter, cleared his throat, successfully gaining the man's attention.

"What do I need to sign?" He asked. The man stared at him, and spotted his forehead protector.

"You're a shinobi, right?" He mumbled quietly, as Yuma got off the desk and started looking out the windows, as he shuffled through papers.

"Hai, I am," Kakashi said with a nod as the man set down a form.

"I suggest putting that monster down," said the man in an even lower voice, so Kakashi had to really listen to hear it. "And dump the body in a river. No one'll Miss that- that thing!"

Kakashi knew that, for Yuma had told him. They were gone, because of her. And, if it weren't for Lord hokage, she would die forgotten did he kill her. And no one, not even her, deserved that.

"I'll keep that in mind, thanks," Kakashi said coldly, signing a dotted line before putting the pen on the desk, setting it down with a bit more force than needed. "Come on Yuma," he said to the grey haired child.

"Hey, Bakashi?" She asked as soon as they stepped through the doors of the asylum, into the sunlight. This, Kakashi noticed, was much more inviting than the depressing building.

"Hm?" Said Kakashi, looking at her. Though his voice was casual, he had still not forgotten his slight resentment towards the girl.

"Can I have a piggy-back ride?" She asked, looking at him with a wide grin.

Kakashi did not particularly approve the idea of this ruthless child having a grip on his neck, yet he knelt down and let the girl clammer aboard. As he stood, she giggled and wrapped her arms tightly around his throat, almost to the point where he could not breathe.

"You know," she said lightly as Kakashi began walking. "One swift movement and you'd be dead, gone, forever."

Kakashi forced himself to relax. After all, the Hokage had told Yuma not to attack him, and Yuma said she wouldn't. She would keep her promise......

Wouldn't she?

Yuma emitted a loud sigh.

"You're so boring! Baaaaaaakaaaaaaashiiiiiii!" She exclaimed. Kakashi forced a chuckle.

"Sorry, would you rather try to converse?" He asked.

"Sure! What's that book in your pocket?" She asked. Kakashi felt his cheeks heat up in embarrassment.

"That's- er- that's an adult book that you're never allowed to read." He answered shadily.

"Oh, so it's a naughty book!" Giggled Yuma.

"Er- no! It just.... Uh...... It has a mature plot....." Kakashi mumbled, hearing himself become quieter and quieter. He decided hastily to change the subject. "What do you like to do?"

Oh how he soon regretted that question.

"I like to come up with new ways to torture and kill people!" Said Yuma gleefully. "My list has ninety ideas already! Awe! But I left them at the looney bin! Oh well! I remember them all! Wanna hear them?!"

Kakashi was quick to reply with a "no", yet not quite quick enough.

"Idea number one: spear tongue with stake and attach a rope. Tie the other end of the rope to a hawk and send the bird away. Idea number two: insert hot needles into eyes, throat, and heart. Idea number........"

On and on she listed as Kakashi decided to take off at his fastest run towards Konaha. His mind was whirling and he felt slightly nauseous as he was forced to picture every gory method.
