A wave of power shook the area, nearly knocking many off their own two feet.

"What's going on?!" A voice amongst the gathered shinobi yelled as they looked for the source.

Another pulse of power surged through, causing the barrier to waver, and the occupants inside to stare in shock. Eyes locked onto Yuma as her eyes opened, revealing unholy glowing red. Black bled from the roots of her hair, all the way to the tips. Her nails blackened, lengthening into claws, and her canines elongated into fangs.

"That was supposed to be taken care of!" Someone yelled as the shinobi scattered.

Yuma stared at the barrier calmly before lifting her fist once more.

The strike shattered the barrier, as though it were just a thin sheet of glass. The four barrier keepers fell to the roofing, staring in awe and fear at the inhuman being that walked past them without a second glance.

Yuma's hellfire eyes scanned the area, widening with what she saw.

Her grampa, laying motionless, and the snake, standing there with his arms hanging uselessly from his sides.

"Join me, young one," Orochimaru invited the girl as she rushed to the fallen body, falling to her knees and pressing her ear to his chest.

Nothing.

He was gone.

Her small body trembled, shuddered as her breathing came in shallow puffs.

"I'll give you time to think about my generous offer," the Sannin smirked before motioning to his lackeys. They took off as a sob clawed from Yuma's throat.

Her head through back into a horrifying, heartwrenching howl.

"Yuma!" Kakashi yelled, finally arriving at the scene just as Yuma's eyes locked onto the retreating monster,  rivulets of red carving a path down her pale cheeks.

"I'll kill him!" She snarled, disappearing in a flash of black.

Orochimaru grunted as something collided with his back, claws piercing through the backs of his shoulders. He let out a pained grunt, but felt his lips curl in a smile.

"Hello, Yuma-chan," he taunted.

"You die today," she hissed, twisting the claws in his back and drawing another grunt from her victim.

"Is that so?" The serpentine man asked, neck growing in length.

"Yes," the demonic girl snarled, ripping her claws from his back and seizing his neck. Smirking wickedly as she tied his neck in a knot.

He drew in a struggling breath as his airflow was cut off, unable to do anything about his predicament because of his useless upper limbs.

Her lips curled back into a sneering grin. "I hope you're not terribly busy," she hummed, drawing a claw down his spine and drawing more blood. "Because you're going to be a bit late to your next appointment."

Golden eyes widened in disbelief at the pain. No. There's no way that he could die. No. No way.

He tried to scream at his stunned lackeys. How could they be so worthless?! They should be helping him, but they're just standing there, trembling in fear as they watch the display.

He choked and gagged as best he could as she dug four claws under his shoulders. He could feel blood rushing up from his knotted throat, bubbling from his lips as the razor like nails dragged down, ripping and tearing his muscles and nerves to shreds.

Finally the four watching attempted to save their master, but as they drew near, Yuma looked up at them,  locking eyes with each one. With each moment of eye contact, she released a wave of power that both put stress on the man under her, and incapacitated the four. The Konaha shinobi that caught up could only stare in awe and horror at the gruesome display before them. Yuma appeared to be in her usual state of mind, even as she tortured and slowly killed the man responsible for her pain.

Kakashi stepped forward. "Yuma."

Her molten gaze locked onto him, and he flinched. Yet she released a strangled breath. "He killed him."

His wary gaze softened as he took another step. "I know."

Orochimaru, much to the shock of the crowd around them, flinched as Yuma screamed. "Grampa's dead, because of him!" She shrieked, plunging her claws through one of the man's kidneys, drawing another strangled gasp from him as more of her rare tears escaped. "I'll kill him!"

"Yuma, I understand you're upset," Kakashi attempted to soothe the crumbling girl. "But you need to calm down."

"NO! He'll die for what he did!"

Her hand rose, ready to end the life of the already near-dead man beneath her, but a gloved hand seized her wrist. Her head fell forward, and she trembled.

"Let go, Kakashi," she growled.

The silver haired man shook his head. "No."

"Let go!"

He could hear it, hear her fight her own sadness. He sighed, tugging her gently into his chest as Anbu secured the half-dead villain.

"STOP!" Yuma croaked brokenly as his arms wrapped around her.

She tried to push him away, but, afraid that she'd hurt him, she refused to use the demon's strength.

By the time Anbu had carried the retching man away, the strength had left Yuma, and she collapse against him with a muffled sob.

"Why?" She cried, tears staining his flak jacket. "He didn't deserve it! Why... why...?" The demonic tone faded from her voice, revealing only her sorrow.

His shushed her gently, stroking her inky black locks as she cried against him. "I'm sorry, baby... I'm sorry..."

And as they sat there, and the Hokage's body was carried away, and the black retreated back into the shattered girl's roots, civilians, royals, and fellow shinobi gathered stunned.

The enemy had long since retreated once they caught sight of the power the demonic youth possessed, but there was no cause for celebration.

Yuma cried, her crimson tears cascading down in relentless streams, trying desperately to block out the horrified whispers, the vicious comments remarking the return of the demon. She felt the Akumuchi stir dangerously within her at their resentment, and came to a rather rash decision...
