Liam and I agreed to meet at my house after class instead of his. He offered me a ride to my house because he said we'll be going to the same place anyway.

Hanna practically shoves me inside Liam's car as soon as she heard him offered. She even slid a condom in my pocket which I threw at her as soon as I notice it.

We are currently on our way to my house. It was silent and awkward at the same time; it was really uncomfortable than those car rides from my blind dates courtesy of Hanna.

"Mind if we turn the radio on?" He probably notices my uncomfortable state.

"Sure." I nodded. He pressed on the screen of his Audi; the school knows that Liam's parents are rich. I know his dad works as a Litigator, he probably earns $500 an hour and his mom is a famous art curator.

Bazzi's Paradise was currently on the play. I hum to the music as soon as I heard it. I'm also a music lover other than being a theater nerd.

"You like the song?" He asks glancing at me from time to time.

"It's alright." I lied and stopped humming then just stared straight at the road.

"Okay." He smirks, knowing I lied.

"The one with the red mailbox." I saw my house not far. He nodded and park as we reach the front lawn. Dad was home for his truck was parked at the driveway. "My dad is at home." I inform him.

"Meeting the parents already, we haven't even gone on 1 date." He jokes.

"You aren't funny and sorry to break it to you, I don't even like you at all." I roll my eyes and exit his car, he follows behind.

I knocked 3 times before opening the door and we both enter the house. "Dad, I'm home!" Closing it after Liam. He looks at me weirdly with furrowed brows. "What?" I ask him as I drop my bag at the end of the stairs.

"What's with the knock?" He asks curiously pointing at the door.

"Just some family thing that we do." I told him. He just nodded after knowing.

"Ellie? No practice?" He yells from the backyard. We proceeded to where dad was, we saw him fixing the rose garden that he wanted to fix since last week.

"Finished early. Dad, I'm with a friend." I told him still busy holding a shovel.

"We're friends now?" Liam whispered in my ear. I was about to give my comeback but dad beat me to it.

"Hanna or Dean?" He asks turning at us. When he saw that it was a new face, he drops his shovel and wipe his hands clean. "Who's this?"

"Hi, Sir! My name is Liam Levinson." Liam offered a hand to shake to my father.

"Call me Ben." Dad shakes Liam's hand. "Are you dating my daughter?"

"Dad!" I exclaimed from his assumption. I wanted to crawl under a rock from embarrassment.

"Just a friend Sir- I mean Ben." He corrected himself but I can clearly see he was holding a smile.

"I'm helping him with his lines because he sucks at it." I told dad not wanting him to make any more meaningless thoughts.

"Oh, want me to deliver a sandwich or some snack at your room later?" He asks taking his sun cap off.

"We'll only be at the study not in my room." I pointed inside the house. "I think we should start now." I push Liam towards the house backdoor.

"I'll prepare some drinks." Dad making his way inside the house too. "You're a Levinson, right?" Dad said following Liam and I inside the house."Are you by chance Kent's Son?" He ask.
