I woke up earlier than I always use to. I put on a fancier clothes, when I say fancy its more of not my usual tshirt and jeans school clothes. I wanted to make him fall for me not just notice me.

I manage to come up a pair of Forever 21 White Lemon Print Tie-Front top and my denim skorts, I match it well with my white converse. I was feeling so extra that I even straighten my hair and was putting on my makeup.

I saw Hanna stretch her arms and legs. She groan from the open blinds that made the room brighter than usual.

"Good Morning!" I greeted her as I was applying some BB Cream.

She shoot up and looks at me weird. "What are you doing?" She ask.

"Getting ready." I replied.

"You look pretty, why is that?" She made her way to me as I continue to do my makeup. "That top is cute."

"It should look cute." I said now taking a concealer and putting some under my eyes. "You should get ready before Dean arrive." She nodded towards me still with confused look.

"Wait." She furrowed her brow to me. "Look at me." She demanded. I did what she said and look at her at the mirror. "What are you planning?"

"Getting a man for myself." I said smiling at her through the mirror.

Her face instantly turn excited. "You mean you're going to ask Lucas out." She assumes.

"No!" I shook my head. "Why would I ask Lucas out?" I made a disapproving face at her words.

"I don't know. He's hot." She shrug her shoulders.

"Lucas and I are friends and I'm going for someone else." I said grinning at her.

"Don't tell me you're still going for him." She crosses her arms with disbelief. I only smile at her and didn't bother to say anything. "You are!" She turns my chair so I'd face her. "He rejected you. Haven't you had enough? There's a lot of guys out there. If you don't want Lucas fine, I'll find you someone from the Basketball team, soccer team, swim team or even the AV club."

"I'm fine." I said turning back to the mirror.

"I know that I pushed you towards him before but I wouldn't want you to be hurt again. Like I've seen you cry your heart out just the other day and now you're going to war with a water balloon. Are you insane?" She grabs me by my shoulders.

"I've decided." I told her.

"No, no, no." She shook her head excessively. "I do not permit it."

"It's okay. I totally understand that you're looking out for me." I took her hands and held it. "It's just that I didn't had the chance to fight for the one that I want. I just assumed that I didn't had the chance from the start, but then I thought about it..."

"About what?" She ask.

"That if I had done my best when you wanted to help me with him, then maybe I wouldn't have felt like shit when he rejected me." I look at her sincerely. "I want to give it my all now, let him know what I really feel."

"He already knows, that's why he rejected you. Remember?" She rolls her eyes at me.

"Yeah, he knows but I didn't even get the shot to actually show him how I felt. I want to do this for myself. I want to tell him how I feel not in the worst timing when he's drunk and hurt; if this time he rejects me I'd be much willing to let go." I explain to her my decision.

She pulls her hands off of my hold. "But don't you come crying on me this time. This is your decision."

"I won't." I promise her.

Hanna already briefed Dean about what I will be doing and just like Hanna he isn't happy about it, but agreed in the end.

On the way to school, I practically beg Dean to stop at a nearby cafe so I can buy some cupcakes. I'm walking with the cupcakes on my hand. All students are suppose to be at the auditorium for the opening of the foundation week but I couldn't find Liam there and decided to look for him instead.

I couldn't find him anywhere inside the building and the grounds, so I thought of a place where he might be. Just as I suspected, he's here sitting on the bench with full attention on his phone that he didn't notice me.

"Hi!" I greeted him with every courage I had. He look up and when he saw that it was me, he instantly shove his phone in his pocket. "Did I disturbed you?" I ask.

"No." He said.

"I have something for you." I hand him the box of cupcake I just bought. "It's for you." I happily smile.

"T-thanks." He carefully took it from me and peak on the box.

I sat down next to him on the bench. "I bought it on the way here, I would have made you one but I didn't have time to make it." I told him.

"You actually didn't have too." He says looking at me then back to the box.

"You can try some. I know you'll definitely like it, it's really delicious." I was about to open the box when he stopped me. "Okay, later then." I retreated my hands.

We were consumed by the silence which doesn't normally happen before. We would always mock each other or banter like there's no tomorrow. I know that somethings changed. I wanted to break the silence but he beat me to it.

"Look..." he turns to face me and I look at him. "About that night, I didn't mean to-"

"It's fine." I shook my head. "I shouldn't have said what I said and I'm sorry, but what I told you about what I feel about you is true." He didn't say anything else and I took the chance to continue. "I like you, I always had and If you'll ask me why I don't have an answer. Because If you like someone, you won't have a reason but just a feeling to hold on to."

"I understand what you're saying, but it's just I didn't expect it to be thrown at me especially at that particular moment." He says looking as he carefully let the words out. I know he doesn't want to hurt me.

"I know it was a stupid idea." I said lower down my gaze on my hands.

"I'm really thankful that you feel that way about me, but-"

"Give me a chance." I cut his words off. I know what he was about to say and I'm not giving up that easily. "Just give me a chance to show you how special you are to me. I promise I won't hurt you, I won't even talk to any other guys if you'd want to. I'll take care of you, when you're sick or just plainly feeling shitty. I'll even do your homework." I said.

"I'm smarter than you." He chuckles from what I said.

"Then I'll do your laundry or even clean your house of you want to. I'll supply you with all the strawberry jam you want. Just give me a chance." I said holding my hand in a tight fight as I eagerly blurted out the words.

"I need some time to think about." He said.

"Take as much time you want." I told him as I look took his hand and glance at his wristwatch. "How about before lunch?"

"I need more time than that." He furrowed his brow at me.

"Maybe at 3 pm." I bite my lower lip as I hope he'll approve but he shook his head.

"I want to be sure of my decision before I make it. I don't want to be a dick like how I acted that night." He gave me a small smile as he tuck some hair away from my face. "I hope you understand."

"Okay." I nodded.

"I appreciate that." He smiles.

"So, it's a no on 3 pm?" I ask him hoping.

"Why don't we just taste the cupcake you bought." He says as he opens the box.

"It's chocolate, your favorite." I said snatching one cupcake.
