The news about what Lucas did spread through out the school like wildfire. It made me confuse because why was it such a big deal, like I was important or something.
People kept asking me what would I do or what kind of performance was I planning, as much as I wanted to tell them the truth that I don't have an idea. I just shrug my shoulder as a simple response and walk away.
"Hey!" Leslie craning her head to look at me. She was giggling like an idiot.
"What?" I ask with furrowed brows.
"Can you tell me your secret?" Making me more confused with her question. "Like how you do it?"
"What? I don't think I understand." I told her.
"Like, you are close to the two most popular guys and stood up in front of the bad boy. You're like a literal legend." She claps in admiration, which I absolutely disagree.
"Legend? More like the number 1 dummy of the school. Let me tell you about that thing with Damon, its hunting me like I opened the gates of hell." I shivered just by thinking about it.
"Don't be so dramatic." She waves at me nonchalantly.
"I'm an actress, aren't I?" I said.
"Well, you're right." She smiles as she links her arms to mine.
As we enter the rehearsal, the costume committee is already busy preparing all the costumes that are required for the rehearsal.
"Your gown is so pretty!" Leslie clapping her hands in excitement. "Grace is really talented."
"Yeah." I nodded.
We walk towards the stage where the costumes are placed. My other stage costumes are on hangers, except for the marvelous blue gown was displayed in mannequin.
I run my hand through the neatly stitch beads. Grace stands next to me holding a measuring tape in a roll.
"Wanna try it now?" She asks smiling.
"Can I?" I said nervously.
"You're cute. Ofcourse! You're Cinderella, it's yours." She said chuckling at my idiotic question.
"Yeah, yes! I'd love to." I nodded eagerly, smiling at the gown. "This must took you quite a lot of work."
"It was mostly thrift flipped. I saw this at a thrift store, this was originally a wedding gown and I knew just a few modification, it'll be gorgeous and good as new." She informs me, she was talking with so much aspiration in her words.
"It's definitely breathtaking and I am excited to try it on." I nodded in excitement.
She lead me to the dressing room. I put on the gown and it was just magical, I was fangirling so hard that I couldn't help but smile.
"You look amazing." Grace said with an awe expression.
"Thank you." I made a twirl with the dress and it makes me feel giddy inside. I know it's stupid, that's how mesmerizing the gown was.
"We just have to do something about your hair." She pouts while thinking. "Aha! I have a good idea." She lead me to seat in a chair in front of the mirror. She pulled my hair tie off, took my hair in her hand and fix it up in an updo and it goes with the gown so good together. "Shall we?" She gestured for us to finally let the whole team see. I was excited and nervous at the same time. "Everybody, here is our Cinderella." She held the curtains away to make way for me.
I step onto the stage and everyone stare right at me that it made me feel conscious.
"Wow! You look like a real princess." Leslie commented with a gasps.
