"So..." Hanna batting her lashes at me with a huge smile on her face.

"Is there something in your eyes?" I ask her, though I know she's trying to get me to tell her what happened yesterday.

"Ugh." She rolls her eyes at me. "Tell me about yesterday!" She demanded.

"We practice his lines." I say not interested.

"And?" She eagerly asks me to continue waving her hand at me.

"That's pretty much all. Nothing else." I said.

"What?!" She exclaims in frustration.

"Quiet down, will you." Putting my hand on top of her lips that she quickly pushed away with a disgusted expression.

"My lip gloss." She complains. She digs into her bag for a mirror. She pouts her lip as she saw some smudge. "Now, I have to put it on again."

"Poor you." I roll my eyes at her.

When she finish applying her lip gloss, turns to me yet again with a raised brow. "You're being secretive." She crosses her arms.

"I told you everything there is." I said now with a growing frustration. "Nothing happened like what you are probably thinking. We work with his lines and I am telling you he really sucks at it." I informed her. "So, stop asking me further questions because I don't have anything to answer you."

"Fine!" She finally drops the conversation. "Then I can just tell you about how my little brother got his head stuck inside a watermelon. It's like this..." she then tells the whole story.

Maxine entered the hallway with her minions. She had been breathing fire out of everyone going her way. I'm fed up with her acting up like she owns the school, which she doesn't.

It has been a day since Lucas broke up with her, but it seems like Maxine's not letting what happened go. She keeps on insisting that nobody dumps someone like her.

"Move!" she pushes a skinny guy with glasses away as he was on her way. "You should know your place in the hierarchy." She meanly said and walked away swinging her hips from left to right.

Then Damon and Astrid stride the hallway hand and hand like the power couple they are. With all his muscular good looks and her sweet pretty girl aura are giving me book vibes.

"Earth to Ellie. Hello? Are you listening to me?" Hanna snaps her finger pulling me out of my trance. "Are you jealous of them?" Referring to Damon and Astrid.

"Of course not." I shook my head, tightening my hold on my books.

"I see jealous eyes." Pointing circles by my eyes.  I'm not jealous of them being a couple. I was just thinking how lucky they are with each other. Even though Damon is an asshole to almost everyone in the school, she treats Astrid like his queen and you can see he's sincere.

"Nope, just eye bags." I point at the darkness under my eyes.

"Use a cold spoon and hold it for maybe 3 minutes to your eyes. It gives wonderful results." She nods.

"Next time." I told her. "What were we talking about earlier?"

"My brother- Ugh, never mind." She waves her hand nonchalantly.

"Oops, sorry." Someone said for the second time around as another shoulder bumps me. I only tighten my jaw in annoyance and just let it go again. Why does this always happens to me? This seems like a total everyday Deja vu.

As I turn to the other hall, someone harshly bumps into me, knocking me to the floor with my books scattering. What is it with this freaking hallway?
