Chapter 39: Simba

Liam and I are going out for our first date. I've been trying to find the perfect first date outfit but seems like every piece of clothing I have wasn't good enough. I finally decided on a black wrap mini dress with small red hearts design.

"Ellie, Liam's here." Jacob yelled from downstairs. I quickly took my sling purse and my denim jacket on the chair. I practically sprinted down stairs.

"You look nice." Jacob commented. I didn't bother to look at my brother as I was busy smiling at Liam who by the way is looking gorgeous as ever. "You know Ellie, Liam just said something outrageous." Jacob laughing at what he was just about to tell me.

"What?" I finally look his way.

"He said he's taking you on a date." Jacob said laughing like it was the funniest joke he ever heard.

"Because we are." I step forward to Liam and intertwine our fingers together.

Jacob look at the two of us with a weirded expression. "Really?" He ask the question at Liam, who only nodded. "Why?"

"Just shut up!" I push my brother on the side before opening the door. "Just tell dad that I'm with Liam. Bye." As I pulled Liam with me out of the house.

We are at the cinema. It's my first time going here with a boyfriend and I feel really giddy and excited, I think my inside is doing something funny.

"I got the tickets and the food." Liam announces as he gestured to them in his arms.

The movie was an action genre. I wanted to watch something more romantic but I don't want to fell asleep, I somehow get drooppy and sleepy in cinemas so I pick something that won't send me to sleep.

Liam leaning in to whisper. "Are you sure you're okay with the movie?"

"Yeah, it's okay." I nodded. He looks at me one more time and finally just shrug his shoulder as the movie rolled.

Our fingers are laced together as we watch the movie. He was immensely watching at the screen and laughing, it makes my lip curve at least he's having fun. He rest his arm on my shoulders and I lean my head on to rest on his shoulder.

After the movie we went to a restaurant. I was being a true gentleman as he help me with my seat. I tried so hard to be on my best behavior and not embarrass myself on my first date with Liam.

"What do you want to have?" He ask me as he scan the menu. I bite my lower lip, picking my dinner food carefully.

If I order some pasta, it may spatter some sauce on my top. If I order a shell cuisine, it'll be hard to open it. If-

"Are you okay?" He ask me with a smirk as I narrow my eyes at the menu. "You look like your making you solving face."

"Solving face?" I furrowed my brows at him.

"Yeah, the face you do when your having a hard time figuring out the answer." He chuckles.

"I didn't know I have that kind of face expression." I said biting my inner cheek.

"Just leave it to me." He reach for my menu and ask for a waiter which was immediately granted.

"Good evening, may I know your order." The waiter ask glancing to the both of us.

"We'll have 2 order of Chicken Saltimbocca with Spinach and Potatoes, 2 colas and an order of blueberry cheesecake." He hands the menu back to the waiter.

"I'll get back to you again with your food." He announces and left.

"The food sounds fancy." I said looking at him smiling with chin placed on my palm.
