Liam invited me to come over his house. He said that he'd pick up at my house later because he has some errand to do first. I told him I'll just take a cab to his house and just meet him there.
I didn't want to go empty handed so I decided to stop by a bakeshop I ordered some cupcakes before. I couldn't between getting him cupcakes or a cake instead, but decided to get him a chocolate cake in the end.
A middle age guy entered the shop, he was somewhat the same age as my dad but a lot of girls and woman that was inside the stores look at him with such awe. I didn't get what was good looking about him because Liam's definitely more attractive than he is.
He walk up to the display area and seems to be struggling with what cake he should pick. I am waiting for my cake to be wrapped, when he spoke to me.
"Excuse me, hi." He said with a unsure. "I am wondering if what kind of cake can you recommend. I'm really worse when it comes to this things."
I glance towards a couple of girls sitting looking at us. "She's so lucky." One of the girls said, I furrowed my brow at what she said.
"Miss?" The guy ask gaining back my attention.
"Sorry, looking at the chooses on which I could recommend him." I twitch my lip before pointing on the strawberry cake first. "This one is good if you'd give it to your girlfriend or wife." Then to the carrot cake. "This one for older people, because it's healthier i guess. Don't judge me I'm not really sure." I saw the same chocolate cake that I got. "And of course the chocolate cake, it's actually the safest choose. My boyfriend loves anything chocolate." I chuckle as I remember Liam.
"Your boyfriend is lucky to have a thoughtful girlfriend like you." He smiles at me. "Well, I guess chocolate it is."
"I'm sure who ever will receive it will be happy too." I return a smile.
"I hope so." He says. "It's actually for my son." I only nodded in response.
The lady from the shop handed me the wrapped cake I ordered. "Thanks." I said taking the cake. I turn to him before leaving. "It was nice talking to you, good day."
"You too." He nodded.

Before I could ring the doorbell, I quickly ran my fingers on my hair to comb it and fix my button down sleeveless shirt. When I was finished, I excitedly press on the doorbell.
I waited for a moment before Liam opens the door for me. "Hi!" He says before stepping aside to let me in.
"I brought you something." Holding the wrapped cake to let him see. "It's your favorite."
"Thanks." He nodded after closing the door behind me. He lead to the living room and It was a very huge, elegant and beautiful home.
"Nice, place." I said with wide eyes gesturing to the high ceiling with dangling crystal chandelier. "Your mom must have put in a lot of thought with the interior."
"I guess." He only shrug his shoulder. "Wait here I'll get some plate and fork for the cake." He walk over to another hall that probably lead to their kitchen. I patiently wait for him to return, looking at some photos above the fireplace.
"He's so cute." I commented as I stare at Liam's photo when he was a toddler. I didn't get to finish looking at them all as Liam emerge from the hall with the plates.
"Why didn't you sit down first?" He ask looking at me standing.
"I was looking at the photos and I was hesitant to sit down on your couch." I said biting my lower lip.
