"I really been wanting to go to that fair that Hanna had been talking about nonstop. She said that it will be in town for two weeks. Can we go on Friday night?" I ask Liam. He was staring at the empty field. I push my self up and sat down to face him. "Are you listening?"

He finally tear his gaze from the field, then to me. "What?" He ask me.

"What were you looking at?" I scan the field but I saw nothing but green grass.

"I was just thinking." He said stroking my hair.

"About what?" I ask.

"Just the competition. It'll be on Friday." He cups my face and I immediately lean on his hand.

"Right, it's on Friday. Are you nervous?" Feeling the warmth that his hand is giving me.

"Maybe." He said unsure.

"It's okay to feel nervous, normal people gets nervous." I smile at him.

"Am I normal?" He ask. I chuckle from his question.

I rest both my hand in either of his shoulders. "Nope." I shook my head, my word my him confused. "Because your special to me." I peck on his lips.

"Thank you." He squeeze my cheeks.

"Liam, I think I already love you." I said looking straight in his eyes. His expression change but he quickly hid it. He pulled me close to his chest but didn't bother to say something about it. I only bite my lower lip and suddenly regret what I said.

"What's with the long face?" Hanna ask, leaning on a locker next to mine.

"How long had you been dating Dean when he told you he loved you?" I ask her.

"Maybe a month. We already had feelings towards each other before we were even official. We've been friends for ages before dating." She explains her situation. "Why?" I didn't bother to answer her question immediately, that made her jump into conclusion. "No way!" She blurted out smiling like an idiot.

"What?" I ask her.

"Did Liam told you he loves you?" She tugs on my arms.

"No, because I did." I scrunch my nose. "Well, sort of."

"Who confesses in a sort of way? What did you say?" She ask with hands now on her hips.

I bite my lower lip. "That I think I love him."

"You think? Like why would you say that, why didn't you just directly said that you loved him?" She face palm herself.

"Because we've only been dating for 2 months." I lean my head the shelf of my locker. "I haven't even told me that he likes me."

"What did he say about your sort of confession?" She ask with furrowed brows.

"That's the thing, he didn't say a word." I slam my locker closed. I just feel annoyed and embarrassed at the same time, it's insane.

"Like nothing? He didn't say thank you though." She aggressively put her hands on both my arms.

"No." I shook my head.

"Thank goodness." She sighed in relief.

"Why? What's the deal with saying thank you." I ask in curiosity.

"You dumb bitch!" She harshly poke my forehead. "It means that he doesn't even like you one bit. He's only thanking you for loving him."

"Glad that he didn't utter a word." Now I sighed in relief.

"But he didn't say a word. He still isn't sure of his feelings." She concluded.

"I'm okay with that, as long as he has feelings for me." I shrug my shoulder. I remembered what Liam said the day he agreed to take a chance of me, he said that he can't say the words that I wanted to hear easily and I understand that. "I'm fine as long as he's with me." I smile at the thought, if he's still with me it means we are getting somewhere.

I was at lunch with Dean and Hanna, Lucas is nowhere in sight and Liam was asked to meet with Mr. Gomez probably something about the contest.

We are talking about the fair that they went to. I told Liam about it earlier but he seemed to distracted, he didn't even remembered what I said.

"It's cool. They have games, rides and even has thrift booths." Hanna says with so much enthusiasm. "We should go there again this Friday."

"I'll ask Liam again if we can come." I said pretty hopeful. I wish he says yes because I really want to go.

"But isn't Friday his competition. I heard it from Mr. Gomez." Dean says sipping on his drink.

"Yeah, i'm thinking of coming and surprising him." I grin at the thought that he'd probably be happy to see his girlfriend cheer for him.

"But we have class, wouldn't he be mad if you skip for him." Dean being negative about it.

"Like what could happened if you skip class for a day, it's not like Noah Centineo will be Mr. Gomez's substitute on that day." Hanna rolls her eyes at Dean.

"Okay." Dean nodded and just let himself lose the conversation.

"It'll be okay. I'll just take notes for you." Hanna giving me a thumbs up.

"Thank you!" Giving her hand a squeeze.

We are enjoying our food when Maxine decided to pay our table a visit, which non of us are happy about. We tried to just ignore her presence and continue eating our food.

But seems like she's determine to accomplish her plan or whatever. "Ehem!" She loudly cleared her throat to get our attention.

Hanna stare at her bored. "What did some cum got stuck on your throat?" She sarcastically said making Dean and I laugh.

We can see Maxine expression already annoyed from what Hanna said. "Funny, real classic." She said in gritted teeth.

"I know." Hanna nods and slide a cup of water in front of her. "This could help." It made me laugh harder that I had some tears building from so much laughing.

Maxine didn't bother to say anything else to Hanna and directed her gaze at me. "I don't think you'll be laughing like that soon."

"What are you talking about?" I ask her with furrowed brows as my laughter slowly dies.

"Well, how are things with your Boyfriend going?" She gave a smirk that clearly was giving me sudden confusion.

"Stop saying bullshit Maxine and just leave." Dean said with a protective tone.

"What? I was just asking." She said holding his hands up in defense. "Just a piece of advice..." she leans towards me. "Put a leash on your boyfriend if you don't want him to be taken away." She poke my nose and stand properly. "It was nice talking to you all." She rolls her eye before leaving our table.

"That bitch!" Hanna slamming her palm on the table.

"Are you alright?" Dean ask.

"Yeah." I nodded. "She's just trying to feed my mind with absurd thoughts."

"I really want to shave her hair off." Hanna holding a middle finger towards Maxine.

I gave them an assuring smile. I don't want to admit that Maxine somehow got into my head, I know that it's  wrong to doubt Liam when he was clearly not doing anything wrong.

"What's her problem?" Lucas pointing at a still fuming Hanna.

"Your ex-girlfriend that came straight from hell happened." Hanna venting her anger at Lucas.

"Hey! It's not my fault she's from hell. I dated her for her ass not personality." Lucas is the worst at defending himself.

"Just shut up." I told him.

"Okay." He takes a handful of cheetos and shove it inside his mouth.
