Jacob gave me a ride to school today. Dean was out for early practice and Hanna joined him, that's why they couldn't give me a ride to school. I arrive there just in time.
"Thanks." I said closing the passenger.
"Okay, have fun in school." He waves at me before driving away.
"Jacob drove you to school." Liam appearing out of nowhere.
"How'd you... ugh, never mind. Yeah, he obviously did." I nodded as I answered his question boredly.
"What's up with that face?" He makes circles towards my face, then suddenly snaps his fingers like he remembered something. "My bad, you've had that since forever."
"Did you just try to call me ugly?" My hands resting on my hips.
"What?" He asks dumbfounded.
"You're such a jerk!" I push him away from me.
"It's just a morning joke." He says laughing.
"Calling a girl ugly isn't funny at all. You're lowering their self-esteem." I push him again for the second time.
"Are you a girl?" He acts dumbfounded yet again. My mouth turned agape then I strike him on his stomach with my fist. "Asshole."
"Hey, hey." He tries to catch up with me holding his stomach, wincing a bit. "Okay, okay. I deserved that. I'm sorry, I thought it would be funny." He says now holding his hands up.
"For you." I roll my eyes at him. "Why are you even bothering me this early morning? Haven't you annoyed me enough yesterday?"
"Um..." he takes a second to answer. "No!" He shook his head as he pinches both my cheeks.
"Liam!" I hit his hands off of me. "You jerk." I tried to kick him on his legs as he pinches my cheeks again. We paused as someone greeted behind us.
"Hi!"
We both look towards the direction still with the paused motion of what we were doing. His hands still pinching my cheeks and my foot ready to kick him again.
"Astrid." Liam spoke her name like he was caught cheating. He immediately drops his hands and composes himself; I also did the same. I glance awkwardly at both of them as they held eye contact with each other.
"Good Morning!" I greeted her with a smile breaking the awkward phase. She shifted her look at me and smiled perfectly. I couldn't help but admire her perfect feature, I think there aren't any visible pores on her face. I envy her so much.
"Good Morning!" She says.
"We were just..." Liam was going to say something but she didn't let him finish.
"Your hair looks nice today, Ellie. You look cute." I gushed at her compliment. Being complimented by the most beautiful girl in school is like the top of the bar.
"Thanks." I might have looked like a puppy getting a treat for a good deed. "Y-you too as always." I giggled like an idiot.
"Thank you, I should go ahead now. I only wanted to say Hi for I still have to go to the library, see you both around." She strides in her sweater and skirt like a model on a runway.
"Pinch me, pinch me." I held my arm towards Liam. "Hey! Pinch me, quick!" He was too harsh and pinch my arm too hard. "Ouch!" I glared at him.
"You said to pinch you." He says in defense.
"But not that hard. It'll mark you know." Soothing the area that was going red. "But still, it isn't a dream." I squeal. He covers the right side of his ear.
