Waking up next to Michael was the best feeling I had after months of suffering from my downward emotions. We’re both lying down on the mattress he was facing on the left side and I was staring on his back as I run my fingers on his tattoos seeing his pale skin while remembering the old days being with him back home. I place my lips on his nape.

Finally he woke up and he turn around to face me. I have no idea what time it is.

“Morning love!” Michael said with his raspy voice.

“Morning sunshine..” I giggled.

“Sunshine huh?” He said and kissed my nose.

“Yeah, I think we should get dress now.. Wait- have you seen my purse?” I stand up cover myself with the blanket and look around for my purse ‘cause I thought I should called George if he’s doing okay right now.

“Lai, relax! You’ve must left it in the club.. Your friend might probably uhh, have it?” Michael said while sitting in the mattress with the blanket wrap around his waist and just staring at me.

“I just want to call him..” I said and start picking up my clothes and wear them.

“Wow.. you’re saying that while dressing in front of me, how sweet.” He’s pissed off.

“Michael, he’s a good friend of mine and he helped me. You don’t even have to be jealous we’re not even together- yet.” I said.

“But we just had sex?” He raises his eyebrows.

I stared at him.

“I know and I like it. But it doesn’t mean we’re totally fine.. We haven’t see each other for a long time, Michael we change like literally for you, you change a lot- I mean you even have a girl you don’t love but you’re making “love” to her. How great is that? Then you expect me to get back to you easily?” I catch my breath.

He just keep silence.

“Yeah that’s what I expect from you Michael.”

I walk forward to him and kissed his forehead. “I guess the troubles won’t leave us even if we’re together or not. I’m going back to my hotel now..”

Before I could walk down the tree house Michael grab my arm.

“Lai, please..” He whispered. “You came here to see me and I’m here for you, Lai I’m begging you.. I don’t want to lose you again. I love you more than you can imagine.. I know I made mistakes for not making a move to see you.. but I had plans, I want to save up for you, for us.” I was still standing while he sits and holds my hand.

“What? Save up for what?” I got confused a little.

“The reason why I let Luke find you because I’m not ready to face you and I know you told me before you leave that I should stop thinking of you because we all thought that I was Marco’s child but I wasn’t. It got me scared that you already seeing someone that’s why I thought being with Chloe but I’m saving everything as I can because I want to runaway with you. Lai we could start fresh!” He explained.

It got me speechless.

“Lai, come with me.. I already save up we could move now!”

“Michael we can’t. This is too much we both study and you know I just can’t leave my mom like that.”

“You’re not going to leave your mom we’re just moving together.”

“It’s not what I meant.. She works hard to make me finish college.”
