<'Sup little kid?>
Alesh blinked at a blue fox that walked in two legs and much taller than her, "I'm... Fine?"
<Really? Doesn't sound like that> That fox grabbed an apple from a blue deer's horn, <catcth it! You're too skinny!>
"Thanks." Alesh looks around, "so... What are you guys?"
<We're Zeshanieans. Blue animals from the first year on earth, evolved to look like most animals — Although obviously that wasn't very successful> A gigantic elephant, who was said that, smiled with her eyes, <Welcome to Zesh Island>
"Yeah. Hi."
Alesh still couldn't believe how amazing the animals are. She even need to assure herself that it's not a dream.
Let me explain. About 30 minutes ago she was just stopped and breath in her inhaler, then sit to called some animals. Just to say hi. They all argue for a solid 25 minutes, so she decided to stopped calling them and opened her eyes.
And then she saw that fox.
And the other animals.
Which is odd.
Super odd.
First, they all blue. Not like a birds feathers, but like ice sculpture. Second, they move without sounds. Like a ghost, but make footprints. Third, they have abnormally various sizes. Some are too big, some are too small. Only bears (who scaly instead of hairy), wolf (who has birds feather), and deer (who grows apples on their horns) that has normal size.
Alesh's thought got interrupted when a pretty bird approached. It looks like a mix between peacock and golden pheasant. The bird clutching at her shoulder, give a definite sight that she will not move.
"Okay. Go ahead enjoyed a free ride, pretty bird."
"I have a name," the bird said, making Alesh jumped, "call me Viashya."
"You talk? I mean, talk talk?"
"No. We still understand each other. It's just my voice sounds clearer because I dont distract with prey, or doubt to kill you, or-"
"Okay. I understand." Alesh look at all the animals, "you guys considered to kill me, huh?"
<Sorry> said a bear.
"No problem. It happens all the time."
Viashya clutch tighter, "Be prepared. The Queen arrived soon."
Right after she said that, a lion appeared. Every animal gasped and moved back. The lion roared. She has mane, but she's beautiful and if you take a look at her stomach, she's obviously pregnant. Like the others, she's blue. Her eyes are green, and she bared her fangs.
"Alesh," called the lion, "intruder."
"You sounds clear."
"That's because she doesn't have doubt to killed you," Viashya whispered.
"Oh." Alesh smiled to the lion, "so... You must be the Queen. Pleasure to meet you."
The lion raised her head with an insulted expression, the bird on Alesh's shoulder muttered, "Lareu... This child is coming peacefully, can't you be a little polite?"
"Nm sounds like an alien," Alesh murmured, then stammered to herself, "err yes. I came in peace."
The lion — Lareu — growled, "That's what your people usually say, then forget!"
"Not with me. I hate telling lies. That's a sin, you know, my life's already messed enough that I'm really sure I don't want to ended up in hell."
Lareu didn't seem like she cared about Alesh's explanation.
"Anyway," said Alesh, "I really am came in peace."
"Leave or I'll finish you."
"Nope." Alesh squinted, "You're hinting that my people are evil. Am I not the only human who has ever met you?"
Her question made all animals hold their breath. Lareu's growl thundered. Alesh felt a cautious ambush in her heart, but she did not budge. These animals are strange, and the only weirdness she knows always connected to the Scietids.
"Take off the tool and go!" Lareu snapped, "I'm sick of seeing your people!"
"What tool?"
"This child does not use tools, Lareu," said the beautiful bird, "she does understand us."
"RARGH!" Lareu looks furious, "she must have hidden it behind her neck cloth!"
"Tsktsk, it's been years and you still don't understand humans." The beautiful bird on Alesh's shoulder chuckled, "This child has a Line, she can't be cruel. The cloth she wears on is called Kryt, she wears it as an Obseqium."
Alesh nodded, "Uh-huh, that's right. I do have a Line and understand animals."
"Every Line teaches goodness," humming the beautiful bird, "and the Kanena does not mean cruel. Leaders like you should not judge people based on others, Lareu."
"No need to advise!" Lareu growl, "go away!"
"Wait a minute. You haven't answered my question. Am I not the only human you have ever met — WHOA! HEI, AAAAAHHHH...!"
Lareu roars and jumps to Alesh. The lion clawed deeply, Alesh groaned, but offered no resistance other than pushing softly. The beautiful bird flaming above them, "Stop! Stop!"
"Your people are taking everything!" Her fangs almost about Alesh, "and how dare you barge in!"
"I'm just asking! Looks like our enemies are the same, man! If you want to know, they took my family! AAAAAAHHHH!"
The last scream was caused by Lareu's bite. Alesh reflexively struck the lion's jaw, then stumbled back with her injured leg. Lareu growls, Alesh catches her breath, "What's wrong with you? I guess you were good!"
"Kindness makes me off guard!" Screamed Lareu, "and your people deserve it!"
Alesh laughs, "You think who am I? Killed me will not change anything except polluting your land!"
The sentence pierced Alesh and Lareu. Alesh felt a little choked, her own words hurt her. Probably because it was the truth.
Lareu bared her fangs, her steps galloped. All animals cried in horror. Alesh closed her eyes.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH...!"
