The Best Gift

"Close your eyes, I have to get your surprise." Urishihara grinned as you cover your eyes and he runs off to the kitchen, grabbing something large off the counter

"What is he up to..." you flinch when you hear one of the plates from the kitchen shatter

"Sorry!" Urishihara blushes in embarrassment since he knocked over one of the platters sitting on the counter. He walks out to you and smiles "okay, open your eyes"

As you uncover your eyes you see Urishihara holding an ancient looking sword. What surprised you is that Urishihara went out of his way simply to get you a gift.

Gingerly you take the sword just as the others arrive. You peck Urishiharas cheek softly and run the sword to the room so no one smudges the spotless metal

Everyone in the living room was laughing and poking fun at Urishihara, who was blushing bright red from the small peck you gave him

About an hour of pointless chatter Urishihara got bored so he suggested for you to open your presents

"Okay. Which gifts first?" you look at everyone then Ashiya hands over a small box "Might as well give it to you before Urishihara already beats us with the gifts" he smiles at you earning a glare from Urishihara who in return sat closer to you mouthing 'mine'

Emi gave you jewelry and Madou gave you a paid week off since Urishihara stole his money to buy you more gifts

"Now it's my turn" Urishihara grinned and showed you a pile of presents. You stared at the presents "Thank you but why so many?"

"I may have wanted to beat any other gift so I got everything they didn't..." he rubs his head awkwardly with a blush

You giggled softly and opened up one box to find a watermelon "Well you did say you bought everything else"

A few hours later and everyone except for you and Urishihara was gone. He walked over to you as you pet Ichigo, placing a gentle kiss on your lips "Happy birthday" he wakes out of the house happily leaving you stunned with a dark red face
