With the girls now back in LA, the group had decided to head to the beach for the day as being home in the heat had gotten too much for most of them.

"Anyone want to request a song to play?" Zach asked, pulling his small speaker out his bag and placing it on top of the cooler they had bought along with them.

"One Direction." Anna and Julia said in unison, running over to Zach before beginning to sing their favourite song by the band, 18.

And so, Zach took their request and began to put One Direction shuffle as the two girls headed back over to Taylor, who had come along for the day after being offered to by Julia.

"I need to tan." Taylor sighed, laying down on her towel and sliding on her sunglasses.

"You're basically tan already. Julia and I are as pale as ghosts, England sucks." Anna complained, noticing the difference between her legs and Taylor's legs, which were a lot darker then hers.

"Yeah, all you get in England is rain," Julia added, adding her leg in and also comparing between the three of them.

"Do girls always do that?" Jonah asked, the rest of the boys looking over at the girls who had their legs beside each other and pointing to the others.

"I think so, it's like a girl thing you know?" Corbyn replied and placed his leg next to Jonah's, looking up at him, "You're very tan."

"Oh, thanks!" Jonah said sarcastically, a little smirk appearing on his face, "Where I live there's never any sun, so typical."

As soon as the boys had started making fun of the girls, conversations stopped between the three of them as they look over in Jonah and Corbyn's direction, watching them joke about comparing the tan on their legs.

They hadn't realised almost everyone was watching them, but once they had looked up, the whole group burst into laughter as Jonah and Corbyn awkwardly sat there whilst their faces went a slight shade of red.

"Bullies." Corbyn mumbled, getting up from his towel and walking down to the ocean, with Jonah agreeing and following shortly after.

"Juliaaaa." Daniel said, walking over to her and sitting in between her and Anna, "Sorry Anna, I won't be sitting here long."

"Make it quick, I'm trying to get my tan on and you're blocking the sun." Anna replies, sighing and laying down on her towel, "Get to your chatting then, I know why you're there."

"Yes hello Daniel," Julia smiled, looking over at him as he smiled back.

"Come to the water with me, please?" He asked, standing up and waiting for Julia's response, who responded with a nod and got up as well.

The two of them made their slow walk towards the water, sparking up a conversation and walking close by each other.

Once they had reached it, Daniel was quick to run in, jumping in once it got deep enough for him too without hitting the ground. Julia slowly walked into it, but speeding up once she realised the water was much warmer than the beaches in England.

"You look really terrified of the water." Daniel laughed, swimming over to her, "It's not that bad."

"Did I say I was terrified?" The girl replied back, rolling her eyes but smiling slightly afterwards, "I thought the water was going to be freezing cold."

"It's literally never cold in LA." Daniel shrugged, noticing Jonah and Corbyn swimming over to the two of them.

"Cold in LA sounds very familiar." Jonah said, watching Daniel shoot a small glare at him as Corbyn and Julia laughed slightly.

"I've heard it before," Julia replied, swimming away a little once the boys all had confusing looks on their faces.

Although they were confused about where or how Julia had heard a song title like that before considering she wasn't supposed to know about the band, the three of them brushed it off their shoulders and continued to swim around in the water and splash others, making the most out of their day.

Back on the sand, the rest of them were enjoying the sun, Anna was staring off into the distance daydreaming, Jack was sleeping, Zach was watching Anna and Taylor was watching the four others in the water.

"It's weird how one thing could break a friendship, don't you think?" Taylor asked Anna, who snapped out of her daydream and looked over at her, "Like I could tell Daniel something and he'd never want to talk to Julia again."

"Why did you point out them two specifically?" Anna asked.

"The first people I looked at, why is it such a big deal?" She responded, brushing the sand off her legs.

Anna shrugged, glancing around before looking back at Taylor, "Just seems like you've been out to get them a lot, seems sort of suspicious and i'm sure Zach could agree."

"Don't bring me into this." Zach said, standing up and running to join the group in the water.

"Well, it's not like Julia's got anything going for her." Taylor shrugged, folding her arms slowly.

There was a few seconds silence. Anna was getting annoyed quicker than usual and Taylor got up to head over to the water with the rest of the group.

"And you think you're something special?" Anna laughed slightly, standing up too and facing the girl.

"I'm not out to bring her down, I'm just telling the truth. It's more like constructive criticism," Taylor added, making a slow walk over to the water as Anna followed behind after.

"It's not constructive if you're saying it behind her back, now I know why i've been so sketchy about you."

Just then, Taylor stopped and turned around the face Anna, rolling her eyes and folding her arms for the second time in the last three minutes.

"I've known the boys for a lot longer than you think, they'll believe basically anything I say, I can bring the friendship down in one sentence."

"Go on then." Anna quickly said, nodding her head over to the water, "Do it."

Taylor looked behind her shoulder at the group then turned back to Anna, "Not in front of everyone."

"But don't the boys know you? Won't the boys believe you?" Anna raised one eyebrow, "If they really believe everything you say, you'd say it in front of them all."

"I won't do it now, but I can do it whenever I like, so I would be careful if you're trying to pick a fight with me." Taylor warned Anna, who didn't seem too bothered in the slightest about her.

"Alright, bet." She replied, walking back over to her towel as Taylor headed into the water.
