Chat Blanc

There wasn't even a second to register what had just happened. Marinette just watched as the man before her was instantly engulfed in dark energy.

He could feel the power surge through his entire body as an indigo cloud surrounded him.

He tried to get his emotions under control. With every attempt to rid himself from the evil that overtook his body, the darkness only became stronger with every passing moment.

It was no use. No amount of fighting, would be able to free him from the shackles of destruction.

His empty eyes found Marinette's unsure ones. Green instantly faded into dull shades of purple as he gave her a final look of distress.

He didn't want this. He never asked for this. Did his life really mean that little? Was he that meaningless that his own father wouldn't even hesitate to corrupt his mind; not even caring if he died in the process?

The final drop of evil found its way into his damaged soul. He surrendered to the darkness as the cataclysmic energy intensified. He was just too weak to fight against the current of utter hopelessness.

Instantly, a blinding white light covered him from head to toe. He was no longer Noir, he was Blanc. He could instantly feel his mind fade away into the background. He was gone and all that remained was the empty presence of an unknown entity.

Marinette's eyes widened as realization consumed her. Was she the one to cause the akuma attack? She felt numb as she just stared in awe. Chat of all people didn't deserve this. He was already so lost.

Searching his eyes for a hint of emotion was like staring right into the eyes of an emotionless beast. She couldn't find him amongst the shadows of dark energy. He was gone, and she was unable to get him back.

He was but an empty being pacing around his environment like a hungry beast, ready to devour his prey.

Marinette shivered when she caught a glimpse of his now white costume. She shuddered in fear as the man she once thought she knew became someone else. He became a monster.

Without a single word, he viciously grabbed Marinette's arm. As the force intensified without a single warning, she whimpered in pain.

He stared directly into her soul as his grip only grew more intense. She stood there frozen in time, as she anxiously tried to process the realistic nightmare that she had somehow been sucked into.

"Chat! Please let go, you're hurting me!"

No words came. He just continued to stare daggers into her blue orbs. His lips turned into a malicious smirk as her cries traveled into his eardrums.

"Well, Princess. It looks like you hurt me," he's eyes remained locked upon her terrified ones, "I would like to return the favor."

Marinette's eyes looked at him and begged for forgiveness.

No amount of pleading would shake him from the akuma's spell. He was enslaved by its every demand, and he was just too weak to fight against it.

As a single tear rolled down her pale cheek, she looked at him with pain hidden behind the sea of blue. He seemed to resist the control ever so slightly, but that was extremely short lived. Once again, the darkness was in control.

He was a mediocre warrior who larked behind the shadows, afraid of his opponent. His heart rate increased as salty water dripped off of his bruised skin. His hands trembled as he tried to catch his breath.
