Discipline

" Is that enough?" Jack asked, throwing the last bit of wood on the pile at the tree's base.

" For now," Annie said as Allen, Libertatem, and red began stacking the logs on top of each other. She webbed them together after they did.

"Jack slumped against the trunk and was about to close his eyes when he saw Violet walking towards him. He got back up, nearly falling back from exhaustion.

" Sleep well, Jack?" Violet asked, with a toothy grin.

" Define, "Well"."

Violet laughed, and said, " Oh, man, if you didn't, you might end up dying, today!"

A worried look came over Jack's face.

" Nah, I'm just messing with you! You should see the look on your face! Now, follow me."

Violet had Jack do many tasks. They involved him carrying heavy crates to different offices. After that, he was made to run with weights attached to his ankles.

" Can I stop...please?" Jack said, face down in the dirt.

" Sorry, you still got four hours left. But, if your body can't take any more, I can have you do something less taxing."

Jack breathed a sigh of relief

"Physically."

"Huh?"

" Please, No! I'll go back to the exercises!" Jack begged

" It's too late, now get to work!"

" You're a monster!"

"I know!" Violet laughed, then took Jack's phone and left the room.

New Dorm

" We're finished," Red said, as he and the others looked at the newly finished treehouse.

" You sure it'll hold?" Allen asked Annie.

" Of course it will. My webs are enough to keep the logs bound."

" Guys! I'm back!" They heard Jack. He was running to them but collapsed right at their feet.

" The hell happened to you, man? You're covered in bruises!"

" It was horrible! She had me do drills until my body couldn't take any more. But the worst part is..she had me do math problems!"

" What?! That's fuckin sick!"

" It's less than what you deserve," Annie said.

" You try doing what I did then!"

" I would, but better."

" Whatever, could someone just help me up? I'm tired," Jack said, trying to stand up but falling back down.

" I'll help," Annie said, grabbing Jack by the shirt.

" I don't trust you!" Jack said, trying to pull her hand away.

" Just, hold still," Annie said, shooting a web through one of the open windows. Then she attached the same web to Jack's shirt.

" Wait, Annie stop!"

" Watch your head," Annie said, then let go of his shirt.

Jack flew through the open window. And smacked into the wall headfirst. Then he slid to the floor, upside down.

" Ow, my everything," Jack said to Annie after she also swung herself in.

" I helped you up, didn't I?"
