The Bar
" What are we to do if we don't win this tournament?! Are you saying we'll be stuck here?!" Planta asked, raising her voice a little.
" Yes, I am. If I were you, I'd scope out your competition. I'm sure you both have figured that we golems have high durability. But, we also have abilities that you may not expect," Crystal said.
"We'll keep that in mind. Where is the Coliseum?" Lapisa asked.
" Wait, Lapisa. We don't even have a place to stay before the tournament," Planta said.
" I think I can help with that," Crystal said. Then she led Lapisa and Planta to a large pearl-shaped building. She stepped inside, with Lapisa and Planta following behind her.
The inside walls were concave and just as white as the outside. The floor was made up of checkered tiles of ruby and sapphire. Couples and families sat at round tables made of pink quartz marble. The chairs and barstools were made of thick glass.
" What is this, some kind of restaurant?"
" Close," Crystal replied.
At the bar located across from the entrance was a golem that was twelve feet tall. He was made of solid stone. He was bald with a stalactite beard, and eyes made of carnelian that almost seemed to swim like lava. They also noticed that he had had a piercing in each ear. The left ear had ruby piercing through it and the left had sapphire, matching the floor below. They approached the bartender. He was cleaning out some cups made of many-colored clear crystals.
He just finished cleaning the fist batch before taking notice of Crystal and the others.
" Welcome to the Margarita, what can I-" He said, noticing Planta and Lapisa.
" Crystal, where did they come from?!" He asked.
She introduced them and explained their situation.
"So, the short of is, these two need a place to stay until the tournament, right?"
" That's right, Pulmenti. Do you think you can help?"
" That depends, can these people help around my bar?"
Crystal glanced back at Planta and Lapisa.
" We can do it. What kind of work are we talking about here?" Planta asked.
" Make sure the place is clean and serve the customers well. Also, my bar usually has music. There is usually a band that plays here, but they took time off to train for the tournament. I don't suppose you two can fill in for them?"
Long-time No See
The Green Falcon finally reached Labora and Torium's ship. It resembled a giant moth. The head of it colored white with shiny orange eyes. The body-colored black as well as the legs and antennae. Its last feature was its wings which were a zigzag pattern of silver and gold. This ship's name was " The Alatum Lunares ". Cracker called Torium and had him open a bottom door for his ship to go into. Citreal quickly conveyed what had happened to him and how Cracker came to his rescue.
" Thank you Cracker, for saving me. And, Thank you Torium and Labor for providing me with a safe place to stay. But, keeping that in mind, are you sure it is safe for me here? Furessentia is still looking at me and will stop at nothing to steal my energy. I don't want to put you all in danger."
" You saw how strong Cracker is, didn't you? You don't have a thing to worry about. Not to mention, Labora and I can handle ourselves in a fight as well."
" If you say so. But, can you all do me a favor and not mention that I'm on your ship to anyone yet?"
" How come?" Labora asked.
