Chapter 41

The Final Match

Lapisa and Planta had just barely scraped by their matches. Each one had presented a new challenge. For example, Lapisa had a match where each contestant had to be blindfolded. One of Planta's matches were on some poles. That each participant had to stay on. If they fell off, they lost. Thankfully, Planta was able to use her screeching ability and knock her opponent off. Now, they were at their final match, which was a tag team. They were fighting on a large crystal ring, Made from Crystal's ability. The rules were knock out or ring out.

" Good luck, you two!" Pulmenti called down to them before the fight began. He and everyone else were there.

Lapisa and Planta nodded up at him. Then the match began. Their opponents both wore heavy armor from head to toe. Which made the chances of ringing them out very slim. On top of that, they both wielded large shields and long spears. Which gave them both significant reach. Still, Lapisa and Planta had the advantage of speed on their side. Unfortunately, they couldn't do much but dodge. They were able to connect a few strikes. But they did nothing. On top of that, they were slowly being driven towards the edge.

" Mom! Planta!" Terry yelled.

" Oh no!" Pulmenti shrieked as the spears were thrust at Lapisa and Planta.

They nearly fell off. But managed to keep their balance.

" Good. Good. They're still in this!" Clayton said.

" But one more hit will send them both off," Saliso said.

Just as Lapisa and Planta were about to be knocked off, they began to glow.

" Everyone cover your ears!" Clayton said.

" Not again!" A spectator yelled.

Once more, Planta let out a massive screech, which stopped the golems in their tracks. Lapisa used her ability to amplify the sound waves that were made from Planta's voice. They solidified and cut right through the golems' armor. Both looked stunned to see that they had deep cuts across their chests. In a last ditched effort, they raised their spears to strike again. But they succumbed to their injuries and fell unconscious.

" They did it! They fucking did it! My bar is safe!" Pulmenti screamed with joy.

Lapisa and Planta fell to their knees in exhaustion.

" That was way too close. Man does that attack take a lot out of us," Lapisa said.

" It worked though. Good thing too. We would have lost if it didn't."

They met the others outside of The Coliseum. And Pulmenti thanked them profusely.

" Drinks are on me! Come on! Let's celebrate!" He said.

Just then, they heard a loud rumbling.

The Frost Titan Awakened

Motum's arrived at Ardennis. Her ship was too large to enter through its atmosphere. So she had to go through herself. She had the Heat Titan hidden within herself.

" Now to find the center," She thought.

Motum had a strong mental connection with the Frost Titan. Usually, she was too far away to sense it. But since she was now on Ardennis, she able to sense it somewhat. She wandered for a bit. Until her eyes fell on the same mountain that Crystal took Lapisa and Planta too.

" My child. So that's where it's hidden" She thought, smiling.

Crystal, Lapisa, and Planta had approached the mountain from the village. Motum however, was approaching it from the opposite side. When she was at its base, she spat out the heat titan. A large cloud of steam surrounded it. Due to the water, it was soaked in. She ordered it to free its brethren. It pinched the tip of the mountain in between its thumb and index finger. Then pulled started pulling. The mountain was the size of a pebble to it. So it had no issue pulling it free.

Of course, Jack and the others had taken notice of it as soon as it appeared. The Frost Titan stood up. Then stepped out from its prison.

She ordered the Frost Titan to pick her up.

Once on its shoulder, she pointed to the village and said to both Titans,

" Kill."

Arrival Of The Titans

" What in the fuck are those?!" Jack yelled, pointing to the approaching Titans.

" Are those the same Titans you told us about, Crystal?" Planta asked.

" They are. We'll need some help to deal with them. I better contact Nixy," She replied.
