*time skip to sitting down for breakfast in the teacher's lounge*
The rest of morning you spent together getting ready went by fairly smoothly.
You sat side by side at the small wood table in the lounge with your food. Eating took a bit longer than usual since you both agreed to leave your bound hands on top of the table.
As you lifted your mug of coffee to take a sip, the door behind you is thrown open.
"SHOUTA!!" A man yelled as he enters the room. You saw Aizawa grimace as he continued to eat.
"So it's true!" The man continued as he essentially crash landed into the open seat beside you, "I heard you got yourself tied up to a pretty lady while I was gone! You should have texted me man!" The man beside you was decked out in leather with outrageously tall yellow hair and orange glasses.
"Why would I want to do that?" Aizawa said in between bites of his muffin.
"Because we're friends of course!" The blonde exclaimed before turning his full attention on you, "Hi, the name's Hizashi Yamada, but you can call me Present Mic! What's your name?"
"Um hi," you extended your left hand nervously as you introduced yourself, "my name is Y/N L/N. It's nice to finally put a face to your name."
"Oh! So my reputation proceeds me then?" He mused as he shook your hand enthusiastically.
"Moreso, your hair's reputation proceeds you. How do you get it to stand up like that?" You laughed pointing at your own hair.
Mic gave you a conspiratorial look and whispered (or well, he pretended to lmao), "It's a secret."
You faked a pout, "Booooo. That's not a real answer." Mic shrugged.
"Speaking of answers, spill girl. How was staying with Shouta last night? I hope he wasn't too grouchy for you."
You shook your head and tried to keep a blush from spreading across your face, "No, Mr. Aizawa has been very kind during our time together. He's actually pretty nice, I don't see why everybody thinks he's so grouchy."
Mic looked from you back to Aizawa, "What the heck did I miss for her to think you're not grouchy?"
Aizawa sipped his coffee, "There's nothing really worth commenting about that happened yesterday."
Pffft. Liar.
"He's not really grouchy, it's more so that he just seemed really tired when we first met." You said with a shrug.
"Shouta is always tired though. Here give me your phone real quick." Mic demanded holding his hand out expectantly, "Come on, you can trust me."
After a moment of hesitation you unlocked it and passed the phone to him. He started tapping on the screen quickly.
"Hey, smile real quick." Mic said before taking a photo of you and typing some more. Satisfied with whatever he had just done, he handed back your phone, "I put my number in your contacts and sent the photo to my phone. So now I have your number and a photo of you to go with your contact info."
"O-oh, Okay." You glanced back at Aizawa who remained uninterested in the conversation, "But can I ask why though?"
"Yea, of course you can! Look, Shouta is a good guy and a great hero!—But I just wanted to make sure you knew you had someone close by if by chance he ever does something you're not okay with." Mic explained, slightly more serious than he originally had been.
"Close by?"
"Yea! I'm actually on the same floor in the Teacher's Dormitory as Shouta." He said with two thumbs-up.
"Thanks, but I don't think there's anything Mr. Aizawa would do that I'm not okay with." You assured him.
"You do know that he's into girls, right?" Mic joked.
"I think it'd be more awkward if he wasn't considering everything." You laughed.
Mic scooted closer to you expectantly, "Wait. What do you mean 'considering everything'?
"Is it alright if I explain it to your friend?" You asked, squeezing his hand gently to get his attention.
Aizawa grumbled, "Do whatever you want."
You frowned, confused by the sudden change in Aizawa's demeanor, "Hey, are you sure you're fine with it? You seem upset."
Mic gasped loudly, "No. Way. Dude, are you being serious right now?"
"Shut up Mic."
Mic gasped gleefully, "You are being serious right now."
"Can someone please tell me what's happening? I'm confused."
"Well dear listener, Shouta here is—" Mic stopped short at the sound of Aizawa standing up loudly.
Aizawa roughly took your hand and started walking for the door, pulling you along. Without looking back at Mic he said, "That's enough Mic. Hurry or you'll be late for your own class."
Completely lost, you looked to Mic for an explanation.
He just watched, grinning wildly, as Aizawa dragged you from the room. Mic silently mouthed, 'I'll text you later,' while holding up his phone.
What the heck has gotten into Mr. Aizawa?
