The trial was expedited to the following day as a result of you finally waking up. U.A. wanted to keep the incident under wraps as much as possible due to this being the third incident this year involving the Class 1-A homeroom teacher, Shouta Aizawa.
Due to there having been no actual villain involvement, the court ruled in favor of having a closed trial. The official press statement released by the school stated that the incident was simply the result of one of the new first years accidentally losing control of their quirk during class. The school claiming that the culprit was a student allowed them to keep your name out of the news.
Nobody outside of the the courtroom would know the full truth of what went down four days ago.

You stood on the bottom steps of the court house next to Aizawa under a large black umbrella. Icy rain fell leaving a damp chill in the air. You pulled the black leather of your jacket around you tighter and looked out to the road uncertainly.
What now? Where do we go from here?
"What do you want to do now?" Aizawa asked as held the umbrella over the both of you.
Get away from you for a while.
"Let's go get some coffee, I'm freezing." You said shivering slightly, "there's a coffee shop three streets over that's pretty good."
"Lead the way then." Aizawa said flatly.
The two of you walked in silence down the cracked sidewalk, dodging puddles as you went along.
"Y/N..." Aizawa began to speak, but stopped himself.
"What."
Aizawa shook his head, "It's not important, forget I said anything."
"No, say what you were going to say." You said as you continued to look ahead.
Aizawa sighed and gripped the handle of the umbrella tighter, "I just wanted to say that I hope you know that I never intended for any of this to happen."
"I do, but it still doesn't change the fact that it did happen." You said bluntly.
Can this week please end already?
There's an awkward silence for moment before Aizawa spoke up again, "Since we're still stuck like this for the time being, how do you want to handle the rest of our time together?"
"We don't tell the kids about what happened," you said automatically, "there's no need to potentially upset them."
Aizawa nodded in agreement so you continued, "We can stay at your apartment like we have been, but we should shower separately since the thread is significantly longer."
"Was there anything else?"
"You need to take me to that skinny Toshi guy so I can thank him in person."
"You mean All Might?"
You stopped dead in your tracks and felt your jaw drop, "Holy shit, I forgot he worked at U.A."
Aizawa almost smiled, but stopped himself.
"So even after everything that happened, he's still trying to help people. That man's something else," You mumbled shaking your head, "I hadn't-"
A sudden chill ran up your linked arm that caused you to shiver.
"What was tha—" you felt your jaw slacken when you looked down, "... oh."
The red thread shimmered faintly as it began to fade away.
... Is it really over now?
"It looks like our time together is finally over Ms. Y/N." Aizawa said, there was an edge to his voice that you didn't recognize, "take care of yourself out there."
Aizawa gently took your hand after a moment of hesitation and placed the umbrella in it. He turned on his heels and began to slowly walk in the direction the two of you had just come from without another word.
You stood rooted to that the empty street corner as you watched him walk away. His head was turned down against the harsh winter rain. He glanced back at you for just a moment before stepping out of sight into an alley.
