You woke up to your phone ringing, still firmly wrapped in Aizawa's arms. You hid your face against his warm bare chest and pulled the covers over your head. You felt Aizawa's chest drop slightly as he let out a huff of air before grabbing your phone from the nightstand.
He squinted at the caller ID before answering, "Y/N's phone... yea, it's Aizawa.... Yes, I did... It's not my place to say anything else. I'm handing Y/N the phone," he lifted the quilt to place the phone to your ear, "it's Reina."
"Ok, so, I know I always tell you to seize the moment and stuff — but I honestly didn't think you'd seize the moment after I accidentally stabbed myself to get laid. Truth be told, I'm so proud of you right now." Reina teased.
"As glad as I am to hear that you're okay, did something happen?" You asked sleepily, "you never call me in the morning."
Reina laughed through the phone, "Nah, everything's cool. Mic and I saw the two of you getting busy in the kitchen last night after we came back— don't worry, we left as soon as we realized— so I figured I should give you a wake up call just in case."
"Just in case?" You asked as you rubbed the sleep from your eyes.
"It's not like you remembered to set an alarm for this morning, did you?" Reina asked, "I figured you wouldn't want to be late on your first day back."
"Okay, so I might have forgotten to set an alarm last night." You admitted.
Reina chuckled and you heard a man yell in the background of the call about coffee.
"Who the heck was that?" You asked.
"Oh, um... That might have been Mic. —and before you ask, nothing happened after we left. He just swung by my apartment this morning with breakfast to check up on me." Reina explained, obviously pleased with this development.
"Oh, that was really sweet of him." You smiled against Aizawa's chest, "you should definitely ask him out later."
Reina paused and you knew she was smiling, "I'll consider it. —but more importantly," her voice took on a conspiratorial tone, "How'd last night go?"
You felt yourself blush and pulled the quilt back over your head to hide your face as you whispered, "It was... really nice, but we didn't..." you didn't want to say what happened with Aizawa so close.
Reina sighed through the phone, "was it because you panicked again?"
"...Yeah."
"Y/N, I honestly think you're going to be okay with him. So, if you jumping his bones is something you both want, you need to get out of that head of your's already and ride his."
"Reina!" You whispered loudly, scandalized.
"Oh please, you and I both know you've probably thought of worse." Reina scoffed, "with that being said, I'm hanging up now. So you go climb that buff gremlin and enjoy yourself for a change."
Reina hung up without another word.
"I didn't mean to overhear, but did she just call me a buff gremlin?"
