"Hey, I need to borrow your balcony for a second." Mina whispered quickly as soon as Kirishima opened the door. She slid past him inside before he could answer.

"What the heck? Mina, you can't be in here! It's after lights out," Kirishima whispered as he checked the hallway to make sure no one else had seen her, "we're gonna be in so much trouble if we get busted."

"Oh come on, it'll be fine." Mina said nonchalantly, "Mr. Aizawa is probably still snuggled up with Y/N."

"Alright, but just do whatever it is you need to do quickly." Kirishima sighed as he shut the door leading to the hallway. Mina walked straight to the balcony doors and threw them open dramatically. Wind blew into the dorm room as Mina looked over the balcony ledge, they were four stories up.

She took off her book bag and slung it onto the balcony directly beneath them. It landed with a solid thunk against the door. Mina climbed over the side of the balcony. Hanging on with a single hand, Mina gave Kirishima a mock salute and Cheshire grin before swinging down to the balcony below.

She landed lightly on her feet as the balcony doors were jerked open. She was greeted by a nervous and sparking Kaminari. He visibly relaxed when he saw that it was only Mina, but his relief quickly turned to confusion.

"What are you..."

"Just borrowing your balcony, don't worry about it." Mina said with a grin before repeating the process again.

"Deku, open up. It's Mina." She whispered urgently as she knocked on the balcony doors. She heard the lock click before Deku hesitantly opened the door frowning.

"Mina, did something happen? How'd you get on my balcony?" Deku asked guarded, a faint green light arced between his fingers.

"Did you not get my text?" Mina said pulling out her phone.

"Oh. I thought you were going to just video chat or call to explain the plan. I had no idea you were actually coming to my room." Deku said as the green light dissipated.

"Where's the fun in that?" Mina laughed, "plus, I feel like some of it would be explained better in person."

"I see where you're going with this plan Mina," Deku said as he looked over the outline of the plan she had given him, "but I feel like it has the potential to go really wrong if we aren't careful. Maybe we could change some of the aspects of it to lower the risk of somebody getting hurt."

Mina sighed and ruffled her hair in frustration, "I know, but I feel like it could really work though. After the attack at the USJ... a lot of things changed. I know that- I know I personally realized a lot of things about myself that day, and I just--I just figured that if we could some how recreate the feelings that came with everything that happened back then.... That maybe Mr. Aizawa would realize how much he's already started to care for Y/N."

"Mina..." Deku lowered the paper, his mouth parted slightly, lost for words. It was easy to forget how much that day had changed all of them in the blur of everything that followed after.

Mina sniffled, quickly wiping away stray tears that had been spilled with the back of her hand. She smiled, but it wasn't as bright as before, "It's okay, Deku. It takes more than a bad memory  or two to get me down."

"Did you want to talk ab-"

"No," She said quickly, "I'm fine. Just help me figure out a safe way to pull off the damsel in distress card with these two. That's what I climbed down here for, okay?"

"...okay."

"So how do you think we should do this?"

"Right. Okay," Deku pulled out a stray notebook and pen from his desk and started writing quickly, "Here's what I was thinking." Mina leaned against the desk as she listened.

"After the incident this afternoon with Ms. Y/N passing out, we're going to want to go about this in a more subtle way. If we don't, we'll run the risk of either Mr. Aizawa catching on to what we're doing or somebody getting really hurt during any larger plans. Or both. — You said Mr. Yamada agreed to help us, right?" Deku paused to ask.

Mina nodded, "He agreed earlier this afternoon, right before I texted you."

"Okay, perfect. We'll need him to do a lot of the legwork outside of class. He's known Mr. Aizawa for a long time, so he'll be able to gather information from Ms. Y/N without raising suspicion.

"As soon as we have more information on her, we can figure out how she can be hurt or put in danger. Once we know that, we'll just need to slip the ideas into conversation without making it obvious.

"The longer we do that, the more Mr. Aizawa will realize that Ms. Y/N needs him for protection. We shouldn't force the subject more than necessary or it might have the opposite affect than we're intending."  Deku finished explaining.

He tore the sheet out of the notebook, "Here, I wrote down some ideas of what Mr. Yamada should try and find out for us. It's not much, but it'll be a good starting point."

Mina looked the paper over and anticipation started bubbling up inside her, "No, this is perfect! Thanks Deku!"

"No problem, I'm glad I could help." Deku glanced at his clock, "Hey, not to be rude, but it's getting pretty late. We should really start getting ready for school tomorrow.—Wait, Mina, how are you planning on getting back to your room? Isn't it up on the fourth floor?"

"Yea, it is. To be honest, I didn't really have a plan. I'm just gonna jump down to the first floor and go through the front doors. If I get stopped on my way back up, I'll just say I couldn't sleep or something."

Deku nodded even though he didn't seem happy with that answer, "Okay, but please be careful."

Mina walked out onto the balcony. She jumped up onto the ledge and swung her legs over the other side. She laughed and said, "But where's the fun in that?", before pushing off the edge and dropping out of view.
