Chapter 34

----Shinhye's POV----

"W-what?" I didn't know how to react. Why the heck did he say that?

["What? Nothing! I was just joking around! B-by the way, how are things going between you and your... boyfriend?"]

"Oh... Uhmm... Fine, I guess?" I paused for a while, is it really fine? Or should I tell Minho-ssi about Seohyun? I bet he'll tell me what to do...

["Shinhye-ssi?"]

"S-sorry... Actually, I have something to ask..."

["What is it?"]

"It's about---"

*knock knock*

I was interrupted when someone knocked at my door.

"Shinhye-ya! You almost done there?" It was Yonghwa.

I distanced my phone to shout at Yonghwa, "What do you expect Yonghwa? I'm a girl, I don't rush things like dressing up and stuff!"

"Okay then..."

"Just watch the TV or talk to my brother while waiting, okay?" I sounded sweet while saying that... What happened to my 'cold' act, huh?

I returned to my phone and whispered, "Minho-ssi, maybe some other time. Just call me, or I'll call you. I really need someone's help at the moment..."

["Oh sure..."] I heard him laugh on the other line.

["You sound pretty busy there. A date, perhaps?"]

"Psh, are you teasing me?"

["Well, I guess so. Ah, I need to go now, I'll call if I have the time and I'll help you whenever. Bye, I'm hanging up."]

I wasn't able to say goodbye because he immediately hung up.

Lee Minho is the only one I can depend on in this matter. I can't depend on Yoonhye 'cause she'll definitely overreact and spread everything about Seohyun. I don't want this matter to become a big deal...

After the conversation, I immediately took a bath and wore my decent clothes.

As I went down, I shouted, "Yonghwa-ya, why are we going to the mall anyway?"

He stood up and turned the TV off and looked at me, "We'll buy a dress."

I approached him as I raised my eyebrow, "A dress?"

"Isn't it your graduation tomorrow? We should buy a pretty dress for you. And since, I won't be able to attend, you should at least wear the dress we'll be buying today." I couldn't utter a word, woah, despite his busy schedule, he still remembers my graduation day? And now he's being thoughtful and considerate... I may be overreacting but seriously, I want to cry because... I'm really lucky to have him.

I smiled at him and gave him a sudden kiss on his cheek. My face turned completely into red and I immediately ran towards the door and shouted, "O-oppa! I'm going out for a while with Yonghwa!"

I felt Yonghwa's presence behind me, I can't look at him after what I just did! What is wrong with me??

I stood up after putting my shoes on but I was startled when he suddenly wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

He looked at me while smiling, "Let's go!"

As we arrived at the mall, there weren't many people but we were still on alert. Who knows, a lot of people know about CNBLUE.

We ate first before strolling around the stores.

"Guys don't usually like shopping with girls, why are you fine with this?" I asked him while we're walking hand-in-hand. (Pfft, cheesy... I guess...)

"Hmm... I like fashion... And since I'm with you, it's fine. I missed you and this kind of date just comes once in a while..." I can't see his mouth but I can feel that he was smiling so I just smiled back.

After hours of window shopping, we finally found a dress that suited our fashion senses. It was just a simple red dress but it's beautiful.

"Do you like it?" Yonghwa asked as we arrived at my house. Luckily, we were safe at the mall. No commotions arised.

"Yeah, I really like it." I said with a smile.

"Wear it tomorrow and take a picture of you wearing it, okay?"

"Yeah I will. Drive safe okay? See you whenever." I said as I removed my seatbelt.

"I'll call and text you. I'll miss you."

I bit my lower lip and sighed, okay fine. "I'll miss you too." I leaned to give him a kiss on the cheek but he turned around and it became a peck on the lips instead!

We were kinda shocked about it but we laughed afterwards. How I wish that time would stop...

The next day, it was my graduation day. Finally!

I wore the dress that Yonghwa bought me, I took a few selcas and sent it to him, even if it was darn embarrassing!

The grad ceremony went very smoothly. Hours passed and I finally received my diploma!

I called Yonghwa afterwards as I went out of the hall.

"Yonghwa-ya! I received my diploma!" I shouted as he answered my call.

["Really? Wahhh, I wish I was there to hug you! Congratulations!"]

"It's fine. I know that you're busy! Thanks!"

["Once I get back, let's go on a date to celebrate, okay?"]

"Sure. Good luck for your concert later by the way!"

["Thanks. Uh... I gotta go now Shinhye-ya."]

"Okay. Bye. Uhh... I... love you?" I mustered up all my courage just to say those 3 words.

I heard him giggle on the other line.

["That was unexpected. I love you Shinhye-ya, bye. Congratulations again!"]

Then he hung up. Was that really unusual of me?

I just smiled out of nowhere. I can't wait to see him again!

"Enjoying your sweet time there?"

I turned around to see who it was, and it was a nightmare the moment our eyes met.

"I was wondering when you'd show up and ruin everything again, Seohyun."
