Chapter 36

----Shinhye's POV----

So... Lee Minho invited me to Japan. I thought about it. He said that there are a lot of jobs there.

I seriously thought about it and... I couldn't help but just agree. There's no other way, I have to go far from Yonghwa because I don't want him to see me after I leave him hanging...

I know that people would think I'm stupid... but you'll never understand how much I'm hurting right now from all of this. This isn't an easy decision, yes I gave up really fast but I had no choice.

And so the day came... Yonghwa suddenly called me out on a cold summer night.

I sneaked out of our house, because my mom and dad were already sleeping. It was already past 10pm.

I saw Yonghwa's car parked in front of our house and I saw him leaning on his car. My heart beat as fast as it could. I want my heart to just stop beating! This isn't good!

I smiled at him as I approached him and he smiled back. I'm gonna... miss his smile.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Secret," He said. Then I was startled when he suddenly leaned, he reached for my seatbelt and he put it on for me. Ugh, it was a simple gesture but it made my heart beat so fast!

But that wasn't all! He smiled and pinched my nose, "I missed you."

I don't know how red my face is at the moment, I gulped, what should I say? I missed you too?? Heck, no.

I smirked at him and I didn't say anything at all. Why would I say that I missed him if I am gonna break his heart today.

I was silent the whole trip to wherever we were heading to.

"Is there something wrong?" He asked as we stopped at an amusement park. So, this is where we were going?

I smiled at him to assure him, "Nothing." I looked around the place, "What are we gonna do here?"

It was dark all around, no people, just us or maybe some security guards I guess.

We headed to the main entrance and he exchanged smiles with the guard there, uhh, what is going on?

"Are we even allowed to go in here?" I whispered as we walked inside.

"Chill, don't worry, I already asked permission." He smiled at me then he suddenly took my hand. Our fingers are now interlocked with each other. I'm gonna miss this too so I let him hold my hand.

As we walked, I was shocked when the lights were sudddenly turned on, and the carousel started moving. It was a pretty sight.

I looked at Yonghwa with questioning eyes.

But he wasn't able to answer my question as I heard voices singing.

"Don't you know, there's nothing I can do.

I gotta get to know you~" I saw Jonghyun, Minhyuk and Jungshin singing as they walked in front of me. I slightly laughed as they were adorable and they were holding roses.

"I have to see this through I want it all

I gotta let you know,

This feeling is so true

Coz I know that you're One of a kind

And I can't get you out of my mind."

I suddenly broke into tears after the song, I just can't help it. I don't know what to do anymore. I can't tell him that I want to break up in front of his members. No, just no.

"Shinhye-ya, what's wrong?" He asked as he patted my back, I looked at him and his eyes were sincere and worried.

I shook my head, "N-nothing, I was... just overwhelmed."

"Yeah it sure is too much, Yonghwa hyung wanted to congratulate you and this is what he came up with." Jungshin said as he gave the rose to me.

Minhyuk gave me a handkerchief so I gladly accepted it and wiped my tears.

"Yonghwa hyung really likes to exaggerate things." As Jonghyun gave the rose to me, he pointed out to the sky and so all five of us looked up and there were fireworks.

"Congratulations on your graduation!!!" The four of them suddenly shouted when the fireworks went out.

"Thank you! I don't know what to say... Why are you so nice to me?" \

"Well, you're Yonghwa hyung's girlfriend. You're a nice girl and---" Minhyuk was interrupted as Yonghwa continued what Minhyuk was about to say.

"We think of you as our fifth member." He said as he messed up my hair.

Fifth member? I don't even know anymore. Will I always be your fifth member, once I leave you?
