Layna's POV
Everything was very quiet at breakfast until Joe started talking. I was just stood in the corner of the kitchen trying not to get in their way.
J-"I'm so sorry Dianne for everything I said last night on the phone"
D-"No you're not"
J-"Yes I am"
D-"You meant what you said last night to me whether it was in the moment or not"
J-"No, yes, NO... maybe but I know they're not true... Dianne please"
D-"..."
J-"I'm so sorry"
Dianne got up and walked to the hallway and picked up her coat and put her shoes on, Joe followed her. Dianne looked in the mirror, she looked so hurt and uncertain.
J-"Where are you going"
D-"Out"
J-"Dianne please"
D-"I don't know what you want me to say, I'm not gonna fall back into your arms because you said sorry it's gonna take something bigger than that, what you said really hurt me"
J-"..."
D-"Joe just so you know my feelings towards you were never fake everything I said I meant"
J-"Dianne please"
Dianne slowly turned back around to face Joe again.
Joe's POV
D-"Joe answer me these questions, don't think just answer"
J-"Okay"
D-"Do you think that I am pretty"
J-"...No"
D-"Do you even like me, Joe"
J-"...No"
D-"Would you be hurt if I walked away right now and never came back"
J-"...No"
D-"... well there we go"
Tears fell from her precious face as she turned to walk away...
