Chapter 2

I opened that door ,although it seemed as if it were three tones on my back and ran , I couldn't bare my overwhelming emotions and the constant reminder of hysterical laughs from invites that were still locked firmly inside my small yet loud speaking mind,and ran as fast as i could down those front stairs, i kept running and running, faster and faster, i kept running until i was 2 blocks away from the party . now i just wanted to go somehwere, jump in a ditch and cry forever.i ran in the middle of the road because i felt more free , free from selfless hoes and free from negative thoughts, I knew jai was running behind me, he would never leave me alone in a situation like this, he kept calling my name, pleading me to stop running, "mikki stop " "mikki please! Talk to me" "mikki what happened" he kept saying those words and all i could hear was "tell us" "tell us" .After ten minutes of running through the dark , unwelcoming ,murky streets of newton at 10:30pm i finaly found a familiar local park with a closed off tunnel , so i ran towards it , leaped for my life passed all the mud and wet bark and sat down with my hands wrapped around my kness and cried.crying may not solve my problems, but crying helps to calm you down and you just feel better after it.when jai catched up to me he was puffed out.his hands where on his knees and he was breathing so hard i could hear his heartbeat.the veins in his neck were visible to me who was sitting at his feet,his cheeks red from how much he ran in such a small amount if time , his eyes widened as he took more deeper breaths. i was just crying.after a minute or so, jai kneeled down at his feet and sat beside me and laid his head back on the tunnel, someone had burnt the top or the blue plastic tunnel so it was like a badly constructed sunroof.jais head was laid back onto it still trying to catch his breathe , veins still visible and blue looking up at the sky. When i finally held myself together and stopped crying i looked up too.after seven minutes of silence jai started the conversation."what happened in there mikki" and he looked at me with those beautiful hazel green eyes. jai was the only boy who ever called me mikki. me being the dumb sarastic person i am tried to convince him that nothing was wrong."why would anything be wrong" . He looked down at his hands and looked back up at me "because i have never seen you this upset". "Torrance, she she" , and i began balling once again,i just couldnt make the words, it was impossible i was like a broken radio."no stop crying mikilaya its okay where alone, you can tell me anything you know that".with that, jai pulled me in close to his chest and hugged me.he didnt even say a word, its actually quite funny now that i look back on it , because i Really needed that hug and i would not have wanted that hug to come from anyone other than jai.we both laid there for the next half an hour just staring at eachother.our eyes spoke to eachother, words werent needed to express what we wanted to say.out of nowhere jai pulled out his tongue in an attempt to make me laugh, he did like he always does, and he wiped off my tears.hes so sweet.i wanted to stay laying their with jai forever. Forever is a long time.
