"Ready! He called out from downstairs"

"Almost" i shouted as i applied the last coat of mascara on my eyelashes,mascara is like a need for me

if i didnt wear mascara,id feel ugly all day,i think make up isnt about looking like a glamour model,well maybe for some girls yeah,but my opinion,i think we girls just wear makeup to feel more confident,thats why i wear it, even when mum use to question me about why i wore makeup to school sometimes,id just reply "you wouldn't know" i tended to answer back like that because she would stereotype me with all the other teenaged hormonal girls who wear makeup to impress the guys, well thats how society , school staff and parents have it, we blame society for the way some of us turn out, without much thought put into it that we are society. just confidence to me thats all.

i didnt feel like getting dressed up,i was going l be changing alot,so i slipped on a pair of maroon jeans and a thin denim jeans button up flannel the back of the shirt was see through that was white lace,my white converse,my wallet and ofcourse,my phone.

"Okay im ready, " i walked down the stairs,jai had bought spare clothes with him,since he had been living st my house since tuesday and wednesday night,he had changed his outfit

Like i said,jai has the best dress sense a boy could have,what i found cute and kind of amusing was that we were both wearing maroon jeans.jai was wearing maroon jeans like me,his grey and maroon vans,white tee shirt,the ones that show your muscles and a maroon, black beanie,we kind of matched.

"Looking smiffy"i raised my eyebrows at jai,"not too bad yourself,"

We ended up going to west fields shopping centre,one of the biggest shopping centers in all of newton, I've always wanted to to Canada though,i heard that the shopping centre in Canada has 8 levels and the first level is a beach! I mean WHAT!? A damn beach! Id love to go swimming in my bikini and walk around in the shops likes its normal.who wouldn't?

After catching the train,which took 40 minutes to get from one station to another i started to feel a bit awkward, like i sensed a small yet overpowering vibe of awkwardness from every individual who i had laid eyes on or visa versa. you meet people on the train that,lets just say they have a different point of view on life,some people are full of daisies and sushine that is ever so good,and theres some people who are dark and mysterious,who dont want anything but for you to stay away from them and not ask why they are uncomfortably staring at you,or what those little red marks are on their hands, which probably explains their long sleeved style of clothing even in the most hottest days of summer.

You know that feeling when its so hot you feel like you cant breathe and the sun is going to spit fireballs at you? And the moment you walk into the shopping centre that cold rush of conditioned air hits you,you give out that sigh of relief.

Thats the best feeling ever.we finally got to the shopping centre,"phew,its like hell on earth out there" , "SOO HOT!" Jai said,"where to first?"

I began to ponder,what dress shop should i walk into,"hmmmm I'm thinking.......I'm in the mood for...."sports girl! Run jai run! We got to get there before they steal the dress! "What dress!!" Jai exclaimed , there was no dress,i didn't even know which dress i wanted,i just wanted to play with his mind because.....he's been doing that to me ,time for revenge.

I grabbed his hand "cmon jai run faster,your slowing us down"

"Okay woooaaaah" and we ran off like someone was after us,up the elevator,in through every shop that i saw , i made him run like his life depended on it,like hitler was after him because he didnt fit the criteria of hitlers new "race" which meant any human being who didnt have blue eyes and blonde hair must be terminated. that is how fast and pressured i made jai feel.when we got there i quickly stopped in my tracks,i took a few steps back and guess what i saw.in the display widow,it was so beautiful,ive always wanted it,actually mum was going to buy me it for my birthday,but i guess those plans are off.since mum had passsed away. Oh yeah i forgot to mention, the night after my first kiss with jai, when he went to get something from home the police showed up at my door and explained to me that my mum had done it. She had commited suicide. I was upset, i cried on the inside, and when jai was asleep, but i didn't want to mention it, i don't want to remember it, i told jai through text. He didn't talk about it after that, which is what made me feel safe.

It was a pandora ring,the most beautiful pandora ring in the entire world,i was sobbing,"what is is mikki" jai walked up to me and stood behind me"what is it"

"Jai,thats the ring

"The ring?" Jai looked confused.

"Yes the ring,THE ring, MY RING!"

Thats the ring mum was suppose to buy me for my birthday,

he looked at my funny. i think he forgot about my mum. i was okay with it so i explained once again. my mum is dead."

"Wha-what? Did you say?"

"Loud and clear,mum was drunk and she threw herself in front of a bus." "But mikki why didn't u tell me earlier?"

"Because i feel like I've been putting heaps of pressure on you,i didn't want to put this weight load on you too"

"Mikki if i didnt want to help you and if i didnt care about you,do you think id be here?"

I took my eyes off that amazing ring

and turned my head and smiled at jai,

"Jai that ring is amazeballs!"

"Really? You want it?"

"Well yeah it was suppose to be my birthday present but its to late now,plus i cant afford it right now,i bout money for a summer dress,i have to keep my priorities straight.i changed the subject for two reasons

1. Jai has had enough problems, this boy has done so much for me i don't want to make it seem like it was his fault or the like.

2. Because i was really fascinated about that damn ring.

"well we got to keep going before the store closes,gotta go pick out a dress,thats going to take time,""Okay" jai smiled at me and we walked off together while i had a quick flashback of the time me and mum were standing in that very postion when mum promised to buy me that ring,that was the last time mum had taken me shopping to spend some time together before she left on her death business trip. a couple of minutes after we arrived at jayjays, "lets look in here" "you know what" jai said""whats up" i replied, "can you find me a black beanie for next winter ill be back i think i just remmebered i need to get something from industrie,"okay dont be long you have to see the dress ,and the beanie."

"Don't worry ill be back quick 5 minutes,"

He was off,why didnt he just walk into industrie when we were there,we stood outside the shop for about a minute or so,must of forgot,oh well,i walked up to the beanie section And picked out the cutest black beanie that had a little lacost alligator on the side,black woolen beanie ,i knew Jai's taste,he was going to like it and it would look amazing on him.

"He was back within 20 minutes,i had found the most beautiful red mini dress,that came tight from the torso and came out towards the bottom of the dress,it just came above my knees, and i was compleely inlove with it,it was a v-neck dress and it had it was a one strap dress that went around your neck like a necklace,its was fab!

I was in the change room,i just had to try that dress on,i have to get this dress! Its adorable,and with the tan i got from the beach ,it made it even more amazing then it originally was.

I heard jai calling my name"mikayla" and he was knocking on each dressing room foor to find out that there was an old grumpy lady trying on a rather small spongebob tee, and apologised dearly for the mishap,i laughed hysterically"I'm over here",i waved my hand from above the dressing room space, no offense to jay.jays but they're change rooms are soo freaking small.i heard his footsteps come past and stop,"sit i still have to zip this thing up,gimme a sec,"

He sat down and was waiting,i heard jai's message tone,"jai,who you messaging,is there a girl i dont know about?" I asked in a teasing way,"its just my mom relax ,"

After 2 minutes of trying to zip up my dress, i had finally ot that zipper up a i felt beautiul,for this first time in weeks.i actually felt beautiful.

"Well,what do you think"?

I put my hands on the sides of the dress and was patting it down,

Jai stopped typing on his iPhone and looked up,he's jaw dropped and his eyes grew bigger. His pupils dilated and his reaction was priceless.

Well thats it for chapter 14! A little suspense in the end to :) will jai like the dress, will he vomit? Is he going to be honest and say she looks like a overflowed tampon? What?
