20 minutes later my phone started vibrating,i was sitting on the inside of a massive tree trunk that was burnt right in the middle,i swear it looked like it was a tree trunk from phineas and pherb,like perrys secret hideout,i jumped in it and wrapped my arms around my knees and tucker my head into my legs.i wasent able to get the phone intime and when i had it had stopped ringing.

A while later my phone began to vibrate,again struggling to get it out of my bra,when i did manage to get it out,it had been ringing for about 7 minutes and i think whoever was on the other end of that line was starting to doubt my existence.

"H-h-hi?" I answered,"omg mikki you scared me i thought something happened to you" jais voice was trembling, are you okay, where are you, tell me now, hurry, i need to come and get you!

"Im fine really,wait i dont know where i am i just ran". I popped my head out from ontop of the tree trunk and read the nearest street sign,

"Im in high st" "woah kayla how fast did you run? Your on the whole other side of newton".okay hang on ill be there in a few minutes."

And that was that.jai had hung up and was coming to get me.i began to think,would elias do this for me?jai seems like he really care about me, and when he said ill take care of you,he really did,would elias do the same that jai had just done? I dont know but.......i dont know.

Flicking through the photos of me and jai on my phone, i suddenly jumped out of my skin,"i look pretty good don't I ?" I looked on top of me to see jai hovering over me,"jai! And i got up and hugged him so tight, he leaned over and hugged me even tighter, i felt safe when i was with him,it just felt safe.

"What happened jai! What did you do? Is he gone! Are the cops after you?"

Well something like that,i kind of broke a bottle of vodka on his head""what jai' "yeah and he's unconscious now,"

"But jai"

"What mikayla? Dont say i did wrong,that same douche that was in that store is the reason why your dad became mental,the reason he is dead.because of that man,you havent walked into any petrol station since grade 2 , now dont you tell me i did wrong, i did it for you,and for you only"

I flung my arms over Jai's neck and hugged him, i began to bawl and cry my eyes out, i just cried and cried.

"Why are you crying?" He looked at me with those dreamy eyes, but still unsure eyes, "i dont know" i cant believe you would do something like that for me, no-one has ever done something like that for me, "but i did, and now its over"

"Stop crying you look like the mother from the adams family, your mascara is all smudgy"

We both began to laugh, and i was laughing and sniffling at the same time, he wiped my tears with his finger and looked up at me,"pretty girls like you shouldn't be scared of anything".

"Its okay,im not scared anymore"

I looked up at him,

"Im with you"

We both looked at eachother for the next 10 minutes, just looked at each other.

Butterflies were in my stomach , i dont know why,i knew i was safe when i was with jai, feelings were mutal.
