As I casually walk amongst all the teens , giggling and exchanging compliments, i had a goal in my mind, i had to make it over to jai without stumbling over anything causing me to look like a total idiot.

Left right,left right, your walking in heels, fix your dress, fix your posture, i hate multitasking, but i was quite good at it. As i promptly waltzed past torrance and a couple of the other bitches who surround her like she is the alpha bitch. Which she by the way probably is , i decided not to make eye contact, because if she tried to set me off just a tip, i had already promised myself id pounce at her like sumo wrestler and pin her to the ground no matter how inadequate it is.

I kept my head held high, as i walked passed her, our shoulders brushed slightly, and she ended up nudging me and was like " pfft" and i turned around and looked at her from head to toe. She was dressed in a full gown, so silky and shiny, a silver boob tube dress that was mermaid styled, which meant the dress stuck to her body from top to bottom, i wanted to laugh because she looked so horrid, but i had to keep it in, for her sake, not mine.

"Did the ocean dis-own you?, i dont blame them anyway, who wants an ugly ass fish to be roaming around in their waters"

I had thrashed torrance mchaefer. Fuck did it feel good. I had completely humiliated her in front of not only her date, who happened to be eliases best friend, who completely betrayeded the bro code by breaking the " you cannot date your best friends-ex" which he had done, but i managed to make her little followers giggle under their breathes.

" you think your big now? Wow, you made a joke, don't think your some hero now , aye mutt?"

torrance replied. And i , without a slight bit of thought, returned the favor and replied back "yeah, and you should really return your dress to the salvation army, and walked off , like a boss.

" hahahhaha, omg did i just witness that? I mean, really, did i just see YOU put torrance mcahefer on show?"

"This is too funny for my life omg" jai was laughing with his hand on his stomach while he was trying to explain to me how ruthless i looked from far.

" well, " i began go fix myself next to him, and crossed my arms over my chest, "she deserved it, she is a bitch"

Elias was on the other end of the car park, i could hear his voice all the way from where i was standing, to be honest, i cant believe he just forgot about me and didn't even introduce me to his so called "friends"

" look, over there" jai pointed his finger towards elias who was in fact beginning to mingle with kayla, a very pretty petite girl, who had a crush on him back in year 9 , he had his hand on her waist , which meant he was going to make a move.

My blood boiled, what was i to do, I'm just a girl.

" i pretend like i dont care, but jai, does he even think about the fact that he has a date!" My eyes flickered over to jai

" i dont know, mikki, i really have not even a single clue, i warned you, hence the reason why i am here as a chaperone,"

elias looked back at me , winked and returned to his conversation with the more "upper class bitches".

I turned around to jai who was staring into my eyes. I couldnt look away, i dont know why.

"Mhhm?"

"I need to tell you something, ive been trying for ages but we always seem to .....

Jai put his hand in his pocket and i think he was taking out that little box i saw earlier.

"Come on mikayla, lets go see the inside of this place"

Elias took me by the hand and took me to the prom room. As i looked back over my shoulder, i had left jai hanging, but i promise it as by complete force.

He looked at me and i mouthed an "im sorry jai" and smiled at him, he returned a smile, but not like the smile i know he always gives me, this time, it was like an upset smile, like he was trying to force it on.
