We both just sat theyre quietly.

We were just looking at eachother,

his face was serious and intent as he gazed back into my teary yet assuring eyes, but then he flashed one of his sudden, brilliant smiles and his eyes slid away.

did jai just say that to me? My best friend?all best friends try to make you feel better in times like this, i know but really? What is this boy up to? I stood up and hugged jai so tight i think his rib cage intertwined and his bones had been crushed together,he held my hand and we slowly walked together to the end of the hallway and stopped at an old shabby door with a "no entry" sign hung crookedly on the blue door.it looked like the whole school had gone under renovation and this door was just an outcast,like they had forgotten about its existence in this world. Kind of reminded me of how my mum hadnt of thought twice before she commited suicide, and forgotten about me"Where are you taking me jai?"

I hadn't noticed that my new pandora ring had gotten stuck in between the bottom of my dress and before i knew it pop! the purple pearl just went out i felt a knife dug deep into me i felt really bad jai its a disaster"Shh babe! Don worry thats easy to fix.. Just follow me,it'll get your mind of things."

Without hesitance or fear of getting caught, jai opened the door as silently as he can walked and pulled a wooden staircase down from the ceiling.it took about 2 tries to bust the door open,which gave off how old and uncared for it was.

He took a step and held out his hand towards mine"here come mikki."

Although im quite terrified of heights i still took his hand and we both walked up those stairs in complete silence. The

Moment he held my Hand I felt happy, happy to be in His company, whenever I'm Upset i go To Jai, he is my Rock, Not to mention he gives really good advice, yes boys give good advice, how do you think im still here? if it wasn't for jai i think i would of comited suicide the moment i found out my mother had died.finally we were up those stairs, "so where are we going?"

"Just wait and youll see" jai turned around and gave me a warm smile, i smiled Back. we kept walking as silently as we can until we reached yet another door with another crooked "keep out"sign, only this time the colour was faded just a tad.

there we were standing on the highest hill in St. marks. the view is amazing, you could see the entire city from where i was standing! The water was gleaming,the moon was shinning,you could see absolutely everything! We were both enjoying the beautiful scene, then jai turned his head and looked at me "what about that dance?" i smiled and gave him my hand, he took it and we danced ,my head on his shoulder, and his hands wrapped around my waist my hands around his neck,it was the best dance I've ever had,the best FIRST dance ever! i took my head off his shoulder and looked at him.you could here the sound of the boys and girls cheering about who prom queen and king were......

As i was staring into Jai's eyes and jai into mine, i saw a look i had never seen in my entire lifetime,it was an upset look. He looked down at his feet, i felt jais finger slide across my face and wipe my last tear that was for a fact was smudging my mascara, and slowly his eyes met mine,once again.

"Mikayla do you know how happy i am that we are here alone,"

I mean what? What does he mean alone, we are always alone were best friends for crying out loud! We have sleepovers!

"me to", i felt his hands tighten around my body and he pulled me in closer.I felt a Tingling sensation in my stomach like butterflies that just wont fly out,he was staring at me, i couldnt help but bite my lips and stare at him damnn Do you realize how crazy i go when you bite your lip like that?"i was blushing.
