Chapter 1

When i got home i found a pink post it on the fridge ,usually this means i have done something wrong and my mother was going to give me a lecture via pos-its or a list of groceries i am obliged to purchase the following day. well what do we have here ,a letter from mom.

"ill be back late, ive got an important meeting, pizzas in the fridge help yourself :)"

I quickly dropped my neon pink school bag with nike written in italic across the bottom of it, placed my butterfly covered folder on the black marble bench top and heated up the mini pizza that mom had put in the fridge for me, and ran up the stairs as fast as i could and jumped onto my bed like i knew there was a monster under my bed, awaiting my arrival so he could attack.

I got a message from ruby while i was showering after a long and sweaty p.e session and didn't read the invite until twenty minutes before the first party of the new year had started

Suddenly i thought of what i was going to wear, my loose sheer ,white tank top that is open on both sides, much like a beach top, a lace collar and 3 studs on each side, tucked into my black high waisted shorts that had 3 golden buttons vertically placed downwards, a varied neon colored necklace and My black converse,

I had totally forgot about telling jai about the bus commotion so

I just went to the party.

To be honest i wasent feeling so good that night , i wasent in the mood to see all the people at my school let alone torrence.anyone who would see me would understand my thoughts just by looking at me,i was not excited.naturally obviously she was going to try and make me jelous via elias, anything that she had in her power she was surely going to use, any tactic,any sense of distraction and destruction ,anything that meant she could not only have elias to herself, but humiliate the only girl elias is attractive to she would at least try, and clearly without any doubt succeed. Its a part time job for her. so things werent going so well. I decided id just drink some raspberry ice tea that were poured into american styled cups because, after all it is a party, and sit on the couch outside .

What a scene. Rubys house is like a mansion, the big gold gate at the front all the grass in the world not to mention that the dark green lawn was perfectly trimmed and the edges were sublime, the water fountain carved from special rock, shaped in a breath taking angel ,the big beautiful White house replica design,one extremely enormous front door that when opened required not one but 3 people to be able to open it successfully, it was an amazing home.her father owns nike so not only does ruby have tonnes of nike shoes but she also has the house every teenager wants. Dream home! She dosent brag about it though, shes always loved the old fashioned way of living, shes down to earth and like to runs errands and the like, kinda crazy for a teen to like to run errands but ruby isnt your typical teen. She had three long tables full of marshmallows cupcakes chips lollies drinks everything you could think of was on that table,she had 3 cooks and 6 butlers, all dressed quite exquisielty from head to toe. Her backyard is 4 acres but we didnt need that much land , it wasent that much of a massive party, more of an intimate get together i like to call it, just close friends, torrence isnt a close friend but she invites herself in and if anyone ascorts her out of where she is , the rest of your highschool like would be a living death rollercoaster. It wasent cold at all, pretty hot actually, i was wondering if the sun was hiding under the LONG sheet of black sky and we were just feeling the heat so our eyes wouldnt burn, not even a single whizz of wind went past us, my hair was in good condition throughout the entire night, and thats impossible for someone with such thick hair like mine..ruby had a massive hall like room where all the guests went to dance, the walls were sound proof, and pink, the floor was wooden and there were twinkly lights all over the ceiling, prom at rubys house would be a thousand times better than prom at school, but prom is strictly school grounds only . Music choice at a party is essential, if you have a weird taste in music people would just leave.as simple as 123. You have to mix with all kinds of genres of music to get the mood flowing, my type of music, i like one direction, at sunset, second hand serenade, boyce avenue, chris brown, mika, justin bieber, all time low Thats my type of music, and lets not forget ghangam style that song is legit!

While i was spamming luke brooks for a follow on twitter, one of my favourite songs came on , jai for a fact knew that it was my favorite song, athough i hadent seen him all night, that was weird.the song lets get married by jagged edge, my favorite song of all time, the beat is so catchy it makes you want to get up and dance, but i wasn't in the zone, luke was doing a follow spree and to my luck, he followed me and retweeted one of my tweets! Score! Now 3 janoskian members follow me.i wasent in the mood to dance, or talk so i got comforable on the red leather couch, it practically ate me, i sunk into it like a baby in its mothers arms, the warmth and level of comfort on that couch made me want to camp on it forever. I took a glance up to see where elias was, i love to see him dance because when he does, its the most attractive thing ever.i looked up to see Elias dancing, as usual being his hot ,attractive, seducing self, and to my obvious surprise i saw none other than the one and only torrance.her hair up in a petite bun wrapped with an artificial plat,a skimpy yellow halter neck dress that seemed as if she had accidentally bought it from the kids section,red lipstick and yellow pumps. She was grinding on that boy like a pole. She wasent only dancing on him, she was looking directly into my eyes,it was like she was staring into my soul,and he semmed to like the intimacy.it was sickening .at the exact moment when my eyes and elias"s eyes met, torrance dove in to kiss him, she broke that connection me and elias had, and ofcourse he kissed her back. And he liked it. My blood began to boil, i dont know if i wanted to cry, or scream or get up to bash the shit out of torrance, i just didnt know. But i had to do something fast or i was going to run out like a frightened chicken.

The first peron that came to my mind was jai. Jai now where is jai, i hadent seen him all night and at this moment he was the only person on my mind, surely jai knew what to do, he always knows how to calm me down , i mean its jai! Hes like a photo copy of me! He knows absolutely everything about me! I got up and was about to walk inside before elias and torrance made a baby while dancing.As if torrance was going to leave it at that, when torrance plays with someone, making the person depressed is one thing, but what she was about to do now, its just her warming up.Right then i knew torrance was up to something, it comes once in a blue moon, no actually once in a lifetime that torrance mchaefer is genuinely nice, and to me? Sure. Something was up and i was about to know sooner or later

"Look who decided to drop by, little miss i have an obbsession over elias" , and right then she kissed elias again.

I felt like crawling Into a hole and dieing, better yet, just getting sucked into a black hole, this was not what i came here for ."You know your a real loser torrance",ruby said as she tried to defend me, "no-one here is a loser except for that real you call your best friend".I got up to walk off and quickly before i started to ball torrance shot me another extremely devilish look."mikkayla your such a mess, look at that thing eww! I cant even look at it!" "shuttup torrance your such a brat".I replied back although my voice was cracking , i was just able to make out those words."look at the baby shes going to cry, cmon mikayla we all know, tell us all about your little fantasy crush on elias , we all want to know dont we guys?"i didnt notice the warm tears about to flow down my cheek.Jordan, a school jock, started to scream "tell us tell us!!!" And everyone started saying the exact same phrase, by now "tell us" were the only two words i was able to hear.Everyone inside was rushing outside to see what all the commotion was about, when they saw torrance, they knew someones was being humiliated and everyone knows better than to tease or Scream at torrance, its a no-go zone.Ruby stood up for me , she knows i don't like big crowds surrounding me, i procrastinate. I couldn't stand to see all those laughing faces staring at me and pointing,Torrance cussed at me and grabbed elias by the neck and walked off with him being her little play doll, they took off,elias looked back at me. i bolted faster than a child trying to escape a murder,my heart was in my throat within a minute. I ran through the big house and i heard jais voice, i heard that comforting laugh that calms me down, but not this time,my thoughts were speaking louder.i was running through the spacious living room to the door and i turned to my left and stopped right in my tracks.i saw jai laughing with his friends, as soon as he saw me he stopped laughing looked me straight in the eyes, it was like the whole world stopped.i looked at him , tears filled in my eyes i paused.i couldn't manage words so i just shook my head a tear escaped my brain rather than my eye,my thoughts had just escaped in the form of salt water that had freed itself from my over powered imagination and ran off, out that door , i never wanted to go back, i didn't want to ever see any of those faces i had just saw, never ever ever!
