Chapter 10

One more day to prom,i didn't feel like going anymore,since my life was an emotional wreck,prom wasn't an option,but i already bought everything so i might as well go,and I'm going with elias so,its worth it , in a way.

Today,i feel more relaxed and calm,yesterday was the most disastrous day ever,my worst nightmare had come true,the nightmare that my mum would leave me alone,just like my dad,it wasn't on purpose,but now I am alone.

When jai woke up he stretched his arms and noticed i wasent there,he called for me and i felt like for once in my life that someone actualy cares about me,jai slept all night on that couch,saved my life from the man who murdered my father and took me beyond my wildest imaginations with just one kiss.he is probably the only person who can like set my world on fire with just a kiss.

"Hay mikki,where are you?"

"Im getting dressed,where going out today"

"Where to?"

"You know id like to be informed about these things,i exist"

I laughed,"just shutup and come upstairs"

I felt like me and jai both needed a timeout,the best remedy for confusion and sorrow is fun.My mother always tells me,well use to tell me......

I heard his footsteps as he raced up the flight of stairs,i decided i was going to get a laugh out of this one,because i want to be in a happy mood today,i think i kind of deserve it to.

We have this deserted couch upstairs in the middle of the hallway,it is just so irrelevant to the hallway,its not even needed there,the walls are purple,why would their be a green couch there? Mum used to say,used to because she is gone now, "you cant live in a house with bland colours surrounding you,you'll just be depressed." It was kinda true,i always do feel excited and hyper when i walk through that hallway,its cute.

Without the vibrant colors my mother had chosen as her decor,the inside of my house would be as bland as a rock.

when jai was on his last step,i hid behind the wall,i sucked in my breathe,just incase my gut was drooping out from the side,that would be the biggest failure attempt at scaring someone.

I sucked in my breathe and waited for him to come upstairs,when he came he popped his head first and looked in the opposite direction to where i was hiding,

and called for me once more"mikayla where are we going"

"TELL YOUR MUM I SAVED YOUR LIFE" i shouted it at him and jump on him, we both fell on the couch together,i fell first then he fell ontop of me, we laughed so much I cant remmeber a time when i have laughed this much,"what was that for," "what a baby,did you see your face? You were scared half to death"

"Yeah i was"

"But that was kind of funny"

and i let out yet another one of my crazy laughs.i hadn't noticed the way we landed on each other right until after we had stopped laughing and calmed down ,my back was laying on the couch

and jai was on top of me,our stomachs were touching,and when we laughed we could feel each others stomachs rising and falling.

"Hows the weather up there" i asked

"Fine" he answered back with a smile

It was quite awkward,the way he stared into my eyes,i liked it though,imagine those hazel green eyes staring at you,i mean RIGHT at you and that beautiful smile,and those damn dimples! Jai was the cutest thing ever!

We had stopped laughing and just been siting there the whole time,still in the same position,hadent moved a millimetre,it was silent the only thing you could here was the sound of the birds chirping outside and the tv downstairs on low ,i think it was chrisbrowns new song"without you" playing on top 40 countdown on MTV-hits ,one of my favourite songs in the entire world.

Jai looked at me,"so what are we doing today?"

"Well,i was thinking we could go shopping, because i need a new dress for summer holidays,then we could come back and play a game.

"What game?"

"Youll see"

Jai knew what i was talking about.

The reason why i hadent told him which game we were going to play,because i wanted him to keep thinking about it all day,i knew he would.

the sun light came right through the window, As i looked out to see the beautiful blue sky and white pillow like clouds,jai had already came closer than he was before,the level of intimacy between me and that boy at the time was crazy,i could feel my blood boiling,not to mention i was kind of blushing,i felt my cheeks go bright red "why are you blushing?"

Jai teased.

i didn't answer him back.

Before he could,i lifted myself off the couch,just high enough so that i could reach his face before he could, I kissed him on the cheek . He looked at me and asked me the exact same question i did when he first kissed me"why did you kiss me" my reply?

"I don't know,it was in the moment.........

I guess."

after that he got up,i knew he was sitting there the whole time waiting for that kiss,and i gave him exactly what he had wanted.a kiss,but not a kiss back, he wanted me to kiss him first.
