"I gave you what you wanted
I gave you what you needed
You gave me what I wanted
You gave me what I needed
We were satisfied
but we both lied"

The sun is setting real low, as the ocean slowly opens its mouth to devour the sun. And from there-
"What's on your mind?" She gave me that glance that pierced through my soul, as strands of her hair dance in the rhythm of the cool breeze of the bay. I don't have the power to put into words, how amazing she is. "Stop it." She jokingly slapped me. She gets really conscious whenever I stare at her. Even though I keep telling her that I just love looking at her, and that her looks is better than Aphrodite's. But this time, I decided to keep it to myself. I held her tighter, as she buried her head on my chest, and watched as the sun sets to oblivion. We didn't bother to talk, we just stayed there. At the bay, we watch the constellations above us, the stars swimming in the ocean, and there's the moon shining so yellow. We lost track of time, and even when we had to go, I still don't want to. If only we could stay, but we have to go home. I escorted her back home, kissed her forehead, and waved goodbye. She's home now. And I have to go back to our house. I looked back at her, but her eyes weren't looking at me anymore. I wanted to wave another goodbye, but I just kept it to myself. I was already home, but now I have to go all on my own.
"wherever I go, there's a shadow of you" I whispered to myself while listening to the song. I decided to stop by at the bridge exactly at the sign saying "ASEANA CITY". I loved this spot while heading to the coffee shop, because I can see the church near our house from here. And on the other side, there's the sun shining so bright. It's like reminding me of where I came from, and the other is where I'm heading. The reflection on the water under the bridge is something else. There's really something about reflections. I took the sign of the cross, and I just realized how fast my sweat swims all over my arms. I continued walking, finished listening to the song, and tossed my cigarette.
