Drop some questions here you have about the book, characters, or just whatever. I'll update this with the answers.

So, ask away!

Q from CourtneyAbel: I just want to say thank you so much for writing an incredible story! It had me hooked from the beginning and it was such a refreshing read!! That being said, I have one question. Was it difficult to write this story? Did you have to do any research into body dysmorphia and if so what kind of research did you do? What websites or books helped you the most. Once again thanks for the amazing story!

A: Thank you for reading it! Some parts were difficult, if I'm being completely honest with you, but that was mostly due to writer's block. Yeah, I did boatloads of research. I'm one of those who obsessively researches for my story. Let's just say that I am now well-versed in the treatment of heatstroke, haha. The ways I researched really depended on what I researched. For example, when researching the usage of steroids, I'm not gonna look at it from a doctor's POV, so I went through advice for it on bodybuilding forums. When researching what dysmorphia's like, I read and watched memoir style articles and vids.

Q from tiger1606: how long was the whole writing process from when you first thought of the concept for the book to finally finishing it?

A: I would say somewhere around 1 and 1/2 years total. I probably had some ideas brewing in my mind before that, however. In fact, for the longest time while developing the plotline and playing around with it, I was planning out a book about a boy with anorexia. Anorexia! But I found that a much more common insecurity for boys was muscle insecurity, and found an even lesser talked about subject--muscle dysmorphia.
