           Artemis yawned as she shot another arrow at Icicle Jr. She was getting tired of the same old game and couldn't wait to get to the Hall of Justice with the rest of the guys. Today was the day. The day she got given level four clearance to the JLA base, along with Kaulder'ahm, Dick, Roy, and M'Gann.

      Artemis hadn't met M'Gann yet but J'onn's description of her made Artemis feel as though they would get along well. Artemis got along alright with Roy but found that always trying to one up him to impress GA was starting to get boring. It was time to start trying to impress the League as well. Dick was Artemis' closest friend. They hadn't known each other for more than a year but already got along great and both enjoyed bugging Roy. Kaulder was like a big brother to Artemis. They've known each other for the longest. Since she was 12 to be exact. That was how she met Dick and the idea of asking for clearance was brought about.

         Artemis fired her last arrow, which evidently took down Icicle Jr., and waited impatiently as GA took care of the police reports.

         "Come on! Today is the day!"

       Green Arrow turned around and walked towards Artemis with a smile.

       "It sure is kiddo! Lets go see if Roy managed Capt. Cold alright, and then head to the Hall. We'll meet the rest of the guys there."

        Artemis smiled as GA corrected himself and followed along as they went to find Roy.

LATER AT THE HALL...

      Artemis waited anxiously for the rest of the team to show up. Robin cackled as he watched her tap her foot impatiently,

      "Nervous or something? Come on Arty! You've been ready for this your whole life! There's nothing to be worried about."

     Artemis scowled at Robin and continued tapping her foot.

         "Of course I'm nervous. I'm totally overwhelmed. Today is the day! Why aren't you?"

         Robin sighed,

        "Uggg. Your overwhelmed. Freeze was underwhelmed. Why isn't anyone ever just whelmed?"

         As Robin said this the others finally showed up, along side their mentors. Roy gave Artemis a high five and slapped Robin in the back as he came to stand beside him. Kaulder gave Artemis a quick hug and waved at Dick from his place at his kings side. Martian Manhunter stepped in front of them and informed them,

         "M'Gann will not be able to make it today. You will meet her soon, I can assure you."

          All of the other sidekicks nodded in understanding and followed their mentors into the Hall. As soon as they entered Dick let out a low whistle as he said,

          "Totally overwhelmed."

       Artemis looked up the large statues in aw and said,

        "Ditto."

     Batman entered all of their names into the data base and granted them all level four clearance. The bare minimum. But it was something.

        Batman turned to the team as the zeta tube opened behind him.

       "Enjoy. We have some duty's to take care of off base. Stay put. And congratulations."

       Roy stood up quickly, with an angry face, and  basically yelled,

       "This is it!? An over exaggerated tour of a museum that even the public and see!? This is a load of bull!!! I've been a sidekick for years! I deserve access to the Watchtower! We all do!!!"
