The Artemis Before The Wally PartII❎-By RedSpazz-

AN: Part two as requested @tigressandwally! Didn't really have a lot of inspiration for this one though. Sorry in advance if it sucks!

           "I don't understand why you won't just tell her! Everyone else knows!!! Everyone else has known since... well since Artemis finally blew the gasket and told you off about...Ugh sheesh this might be harder than I thought."

Wally sighed exasperatedly and pinched his nose. Dick was currently pacing back and forth in his room at the cave and it was starting to give him a headache.

"For the last time, Dick! I don't want to tell her because if she knows then that's one more reason for her to not trust me and hate me! I'm trying to be friendly. Just like you asked might I add! You're the one who was all over 'you guys are team mates! you need to get along! just get over the fact that the two of you can't agree on anything!' Not that easy, Dick!"

Wally had hopped up from his bed mid-rant and was now joining Dick in pacing his room.

Dick sighed and stopped pacing as he put a hand on Wally's shoulder,

"What happened to the way you felt when you first met her? I though you liked the idea of a challenge!?"

Wally sighed in defeat and slumped back onto his bed.

"I'm tired of constantly fighting with her and being the nice one in our one-sided friendship. I've given up! I think I gave up a long time ago..."

FLASHBACKFLASHBACKFLASHBLACKFLASHBLACKFLASHBACK!

"...You are so obviously the traitor! I mean it's so obvious now! Your uncle just happens to change his mind about not letting you join the team! And not too long after Roy left too! And then the breaking point of it all! Tonight, you let Sportsmaster get away! You LET him get away! You didn't just get beat you LET him win! I can't believe-"

"Artemis!"- Dick interrupted- "Leave him alone! He has his own secrets, as do you! He'll tell us all when he's ready! And as for him being the traitor... He is definitely NOT the traitor! I've known Wally since I was eleven and he would never betray us like that!"

Dick defended.

Artemis crossed her arms over her chest and scoffed.

"Whatever... I'm going to hit the showers. Call me when The Bat wants to do mission debriefing. I can't wait to tell him my side of the story."

With a sarcastic eye-roll Artemis stalked off towards the girls locker room.

      Wally stood there in silence. He hadn't spoken a word since Artemis had whirled on him the minute they hopped off the bio-ship.

Dick looked at Wally in sympathy as he walked over and put his hand on his forearm.

"She's just missing Roy. She doesn't mean all that. You alright Wall-Man?"

Wally sighed and ran his hand through his hair in defeat.

"She's right though. I completely let my team down. I... I should just leave."

"What!? Are you crazy?! Wally you've been wanting in this team ever since you got your powers! How can you say that?!"

"I just figured... I'm no good for the team if... if I'm always lying to them."

Dick sighed, pinched his nose, and spoke as if he had had this conversation a million times.

"Then tell them. They love you, Wally, and they won't judge you for it. I promise!"

Wally laughed a hollow laugh and spoke words laced with venom and sarcasm.

"Right! Like Artemis wouldn't take an arrow and shove it so far up my- Dick slapped Wally on the shoulder- " Ow! I'm just saying, I can't tell Arty. She would kill me on the spot. Or demand I leave the team. Same thing basically..." 

      "So don't tell Artemis. But the rest of the team deserves to know Wally. And then, when you have them to back you up, then you tell Artemis. When the time is right you'll know it. But you have to tell her eventually. Secrets will only make a bad relationship worse."

         Wally scoffed and said,

        "Says mister sunglasses over here."

        Dick smirked as he turned to walk down the hall and spoke over his shoulder saying,

       "I don't have any bad relationships to make worse with secrets though!"

    Wally shook his head with a light smile on his face and went to find the team. It was time they knew. Everything.

LATER WITH THE TEAM...

         "... I have to tell you guys something. But before I do I need your sworn secrecy and a promise to not tell Artemis. Ok?"

        M'Gann was practically jumping in her seat as she burst out and said,

        "Oh my gosh! You like her don't you? Hello Megan! Of course he likes her! How could he not!? It's sooo obvious!"

         Wally mentally face palmed and looked at M'Gann exasperatedly as he spoke slowly,

        "No, M'Gann. I do not like Ms. Thing. This is serious guys. Do you promise not to tell her?"

         Kaulder got up and put his hand in Wally's shoulder as he put on his 'leader' face and said,

         "My friend, I can promise you we will not speak a word of this to Artemis without your consent but... if this is so important do you not think that Batman should be told about this?"

          Wally sighed and gave Kaulder a thankful smile as he spoke,

          "Batman already knows. The whole League knows actually. And so does Rob.
Please don't freak out guys but you need to trust me and believe me on this. Alright?"

         The team nodded their heads with concerned looks on their faces as they heard the unusual seriousness coming from Wally's voice.

        "Artemis' accusations of my being a mole are true..."

AN: DUN DUN DUNNMMM!!!! And the plot thickens!
Whelp! Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! Inspiration hit me right in the middle of writing this and I already have plans for a part three if you guys want it! Comment if you want a part three!!!
