A/N: I know I do an absurd amount of authors notes. I'm sorry. Please enjoy this and if you haven't read "A Harm(ful)less Game" before this, make sure to read that because this is the outcome of the events of that chapter so... yeah! Enjoy!

Third Person POV

It was finally Friday! Wally had been thinking, planning, preparing for this night for three days now! It had to be perfect. He isn't even doing this for the bet anymore, he just wants to apologize and actually tell Artemis what he thinks of her instead of those few stupid words that came out his mouth that night. I don't want to kiss you either. What was I thinking?! It doesn't matter anymore, if tonight goes how I hope it does, we will both want to kiss each other and we will both be able to say it... all the time maybe?

It was now 4:30 which meant that Wally had one hour to get ready, get to her place, and also go over everything again to make sure he didn't forget anything.

He quickly showered, got changed into a nice suit, brushed his teeth several times, and grabbed his phone to go over everything in his head and write down a few pointers on his arms... legs... maybe hands? He needed to make sure he made this night great!

In no time it was 5:20 and Wally rushed out of his house and towards Artemis'.

Artemis had been half looking forward to their date. When she won, she would get $20 so why not go out and see if Wally can actually have a normal night with her? However she was also dreading it a little bit. Because of what happened, what he said to her, what she didn't say... how will that impact the night?

She started getting ready at around 4:00. She wanted to look amazing. Not how she usually looked when they were around each other. She put on her makeup, did half her hair up in a braided bun and left the rest out to straighten which made it look twice as long going all the way down to the bottom of her back. She then put on a sparkly red dress that tied around the back of her neck and went down to her ankles. It showed off her curves and about 2/3 of her right leg. She added a matching pair of red high heels and finished the look off with emerald green dangly earrings.

Artemis checked the time and it was 5:25. She slipped her phone into a small red clutch purse and began to walk down towards the door, expecting Wally to be late she decided she might as well make it easier for him and start walking towards... anywhere? She opened the main door of her home and saw Wally standing there, fist raised about to knock on the door. He wore a black dress suit with an emerald green tie and had little green arrow cuff links.

"Wow," He breathed. Artemis saw his cheeks heat up and his face started to match his hair when he noticed he was staring. "you look, stunning Artemis." His right hand landed behind his neck in embarrassment as his left hand held up a bouquet of red roses.

"Thanks. You don't look that bad yourself." She answered and invited him inside while she put the flowers in a vase.

"So what did you plan for our 'date' tonight?" She asked, putting quotations around the word date.

"Well I guess I thought we could go for dinner. I made a reservation at this new place that opened up on the west side of Metropolis. It looked really nice and took some convincing but I finally got us a table. It's Italian food, I hope that's alright?" Wally's hand didn't leave his neck. His face wasn't really red anymore. It was closer to pink now. He made some eye contact but mainly stared at the floor or Artemis' open back dress, admiring how beautiful she was.

"Italian is great! What time?"

"Not for another half hour if they're on time. I was thinking we could just walk around a park and talk for a little while?"
