Artemis Breaks Up❎-By RedSpazz-

AN: Well my lovely's! Another one for you to read! Totally running out of ideas for one-shots though so give me some good ones and I'll make sure they get turned into stories! 😜

   

(AN: Just a little bit of background to start things off, it'll lead right into the story though so don't worry.)

      Wally and Artemis have become each other's best friends. They ended up being really close after the training exercise and the team learning who her family was. Eventually it just turned into being best friends by the end of the month. They would hang out at each other's houses all the time and just chill and talk about anything and everything. Artemis would complain about all the stupid boyfriends she's gone through and Wally would complain about all the brainless girls that were at his school. And they would both see who could come up with the best roast about the other when playing Mario Kart on the Wii (AN: if you don't remember playing on a Wii than you're too young to even be holding a mobile device right now!) 

     After some time they both developed feelings for each other. They never said anything about it but each of them could feel that things had changed between them. But, they were stubborn so Wally continued to chase after all the brainless girls in his school and Artemis continued to date any stupid jerk she could find. That was just how things rolled with them.  Until Artemis got attached to the biggest jerk Wally had ever met, because yes Artemis would let Wally meet her boyfriends she needed her best friends opinion of the dude!

       Artemis and Wally were chilling at the cave for the day watching an old tv-show called "Remington Steele" (AN: if you can find it you should totally check it out! It's gotta be my favourite show in the world! Probably just because I'm in love with Pierce Brosnan though.😜) The two of them hadn't really just "hung out" together since Artemis started dating Cameron, a few months ago. Wally was sitting at the corner of the couch with his feet propped up on the coffee table while Artemis lay sprawled across the couch (Y'know, cause nobody knows how to man spread better than a woman!) with her legs draped over Wally's lap. It wasn't unusual to find the two of them like this.

        Artemis sat up and stretched as she declared that she needed to pee and would be right back. Wally nodded in reply and paused the tv as he got up to go get food. As he was buttering his twelfth piece of toast he heard a buzzing sound from the living room. He quickly ran in to answer his phone but instead found that it was Artemis' phone that was ringing.

       They had established long ago that because they were so close they could answer each other's phones. The only reason Wally hesitated, slightly, this time was because the caller ID read "Cameron🥰". Wally inwardly gagged as he looked at the picture of the two being all lovey dovey and answered the phone.

        "Hello, this is the Harpy's phone, how may I be of service to you?"

        The guy on the other side of the line waited a minute before speaking,

         "Who the heck is a Harpy?! And where's Artemis?"

        Wally frowned at the guys lack of a sense of humour and instead decided to go with,

        "Oh hey Cameron. It's Wally. We met a while ago. Arty is in the washroom right now but I can take a message or tell her to call you back?"

        Cameron audibly huffed as he spoke back to Wally in a slightly annoyed tone,

         "Look, Walter, or whatever your name is. Just get Artemis to come down to the dock at Happy Harbour. I have something planned and it isn't really going to work if she's not here. Got it?"
