Artemis walked into the cave as she stretched out her sore muscles. She had fallen asleep on the couch with Bette last night and her couch was not the comfiest. She was going to do training with Canary and then just take a nap in her room at the cave but as soon as she heard Wally's obnoxious voice she knew she wouldn't be getting any sleep with him around. Not because he was loud and annoying but because she needed to be there to tell him he as being loud and annoying. She always had this impulsive urge to not ever miss anything that he did or said so that if he ever did anything stupid (which was always) than she could be there to tell him.

      Artemis yawned and stretched again as she walked into the kitchen where the rest of the team was hanging out. Wally was currently flirting with M'Gann and Dick was trying to teach Connor how to play Xbox. Neither Wally nor Dick were succeeding in their efforts.

      As soon as Wally saw Artemis walk into the kitchen his smile dropped and his face began to turn red. He stomped over to Artemis as he raised his index finger to point at her.

      "You! Gosh, I knew you were mental and all but pulling something like this is so not cool Blondie!!!"

      Artemis jerked back as Wally suddenly became so much closer to her face. She had no idea what was going on and planned to find out just why Baywatch was all up in her face with out being scared to death of her.

       "The heck are you talking about?! I didn't 'pull' anything. What's your problem?!"

        Wally growled as he threw his hands up in the air and stomped back toward the kitchen. He then proceeded to shove for cookies in his mouth and swallow within seconds before speaking again to Artemis,

      "Oh don't play dumb! It's bad enough that you constantly have to point out every little thing I do wrong but resorting to pranks?! That's just asking for war, Arty. War!"

       By now M'Gann and Connor had decided to sneak off before this got ugly.

        Artemis glared at Wally as she crossed her arms over her chest and cocked her hip to the side as she wondered what the heck he was talking about.

        "I have no idea what you're talking about, Kid."

      Wally walked back over to Artemis with quick strides and grabbed her shoulders as he pushed her against the wall and brought his face in close as he talked low and deep,

          "Then would you kindly explain how all of my underwear ended up on my high schools front lawn?!"

       Artemis tried not to let their closeness bother her, or the fact that he had her cornered against a wall and was blocking all exits. She held in her laugh at his mentioning of what had transpired and calmly opened her mouth and began to speak,

       "Wall-Man, you have known me long enough to know that when I pull a prank, I do not take it lightly. Underwear would be the last thing that I would resort to when pulling something in you. You know it; and I know it."

      Wally scrunched his brow as he realized what exactly she was getting at and slowly released her as he backed away from the wall. The minute his hands left her arms she reeled her arm back and socked Wally in the shoulder as hard as she could as she began to yell at him in Vietnamese and English.

         "Idiot! Seriously, you probably knew it was Dick from the start but no!!!! Had to blame everything on me!!! You are always looking for something to rag on me for and it's seriously starting to tick me off!!! I have proven my loyalty to you and this team time and time again! I am just as good a team member as M'Gann! But, instead of flirting with me you decide that making me feel like a worthless peace of crap is the better choice!!! I am so done with you and your crap! I can't even-"

       Wally cut Artemis off as he quickly yelled back in a loud and angry voice that Artemis had never really heard him use before. She must have really hit a nerve.

         "YOU THINK I AM THE ONLY ONE THAT DOES THIS BETWEEN US!? I treat you like crap because you treat me like just as much crap! Telling me that I am a bad person and being unfair to you is a load of bull, Artemis! And you know it!"

       As Wally continued I speak louder and faster his face began to get redder and redder. It wasn't until his freckles disappeared, because of how red his face was, that Artemis couldn't hold back anymore and began to smile up at Wally as he rambled on about how Artemis was just as much of a jerk as he was.

     Wally noticed Artemis' smile and slowly began to stop speaking, his angriness dying on his lips. He looked at Artemis with a confused cook of his brow and asked,

       "Why are you smiling at me like that!? It's starting to freak me out!"

       Artemis decided that now was as good a time as ever to get things out and in the open so she ripped off the band-aid,

        "Sorry. You're just really cute when you're mad."

        Wally looked at Artemis skeptically and analyzed her face. Waiting for a tell, once he found none he realized she was being completely honest with him. He smiled as he grabbed Artemis by the waist and slowly pulled her close to him. Once she was close enough that she could hear him whisper, he lightly said,

       "Ditto,"

    Before kissing her soundly. The two kissed for a while until they heard a camera shutter and Dick begin to cackle

       Wally, reluctantly, pulled away from Artemis as he turned towards Dick and pointed at him angrily as he spoke,

       "You are not getting away with the whole underwear thing that easily man! You are so dead!"

       Dick took this as his sign for a head start and barrelled down the hall towards the zeta tubes. Wally quickly pecked Artemis on the cheek and gave her a quick "talk later babe" before zooming down the hall in pursuit of the troll.

      Artemis stood in the hallway in shock as she spoke to herself out loud,

      "What the heck just happened?!"
