A/N: FIRST OF ALL THANK YOU ALL FOR THE COMMENTS, VOTES, AND READS!!! Love you all!

This story is a minor AU
Wally is 22, Artemis is 21, and Dick is 19. Wally lives with Dick in a small apartment near Happy Harbour(if they walked it would take them a little under 10 mins to get to Mount Justice)
Artemis lives in her and her moms old apartment in Gotham(her mom moved to Central City and lives in a nice little suburban home with a white picket fence because lets face it... Paula Crock is a gift to this world and deserves to finally get her happy little normal life with a white picket fence!) Artemis, Dick, and Wally are still members of the YJ though.
Relationship status: Not together romantically but have become reasonably good friends. Mostly because of their common friendship with Dick(Artemis has known who he is since she graduated high-school.) PHEW!!! Ok now that that's out of the way, ENJOY!!!

-10:30pm Gotham-

Artemis was in her apartment making some of her moms special recipe Vietnamese tea, to relax her sore and tired muscles from team training this morning, when she heard a knock on her door. She sighed as she set her tea mug down and padded to the door.

She was in a baggy grey t-shirt, with holes in it, and plaid pyjama pants, that had been cut off a little above her knee to make shorts. She had some loose wool socks on her feet and her hair was down. She wasn't planning on letting anyone in, as tonight was her night off of patrol, so she didn't bother putting on a house coat or anything.

As she peeked through the peep-hole and saw red-hair she immediately threw her 'no letting anybody in' rule out the window and flung the door open to glare at the red-headed speedster,

"You immature little speedy twerp! You missed training this morning! I would have expected this from 16 year old Kid Idiot but not 22 year old 'PHD in forensic science' Wallace Rudolph West!"

After waiting for her to finish her tirade Wally slumped against the doorframe and grinned up at her, in his stupid little Baywatchy way, and said,

"Oops?"

Artemis stood there stiffly with her arms folded over her chest,

"You're bleeding."

Wally smirked and raised one eyebrow at Artemis' lack of concern, though, he knew she would let him in and help him out. After all there had been a few times she had shown up at his and Dick's apartment with a few scrapes and bruises herself.

"No? Really?"

Artemis skeptically eyed Wally and uncrossed her arms as she took a step towards him to help him into her apartment. After propping him up on the counter in her bathroom she left him alone while she gathered her first aid kit.

Wally took this time alone to admire what she had done with the place since her mom left. When Paula moved out Artemis took it hard. She wanted what was best for her mom but she was really going to miss her. So Wally and Dick suggested she redecorate the place to make it feel more like her. Wally was admiring the meticulously painted gold arrows on her forest green bathroom wall when Artemis came back with a large container full of all sorts of medical supplies.

Artemis opened the container and started pulling out all the needed supplies and set them on the counter. She then stood back and shuffled from foot to foot purposely avoiding eye contact with Wally. Wally could clearly tell she was nervous about something. After enjoying watching the unusual awkward that Artemis was being Wally broke the silence,

"Something wrong?"

Artemis shuffled her feet once more and finally looked him in the eyes.
