Link has notice that there is a Petalburg gym in the Petalburg city. He enters the gym and there he saw his grandmother named Impa. He went to her and speak.
"Hello Impa it's so great to see you again." Link speaks in a greetings voice.
"My words, Are you here to face me or...." Impa replied in a older voice but it was interruped when he sees Ravio opening the door.
Ravio opens the Petalburg gym door and said. "I want to catch a poke'mon."
"Well okay. Ravio, I will give you this poke'mon. It's a Murkrow. Please give it back to me when your done." Impa talking to Ravio.
"Link please guide Ravio for him on catching his first poke'mon." Impa talking to Link.
"Okay." Link replied to Impa
Link and Ravio head out of the gym and went to Route 103 to find a poke'mon and surprise a wild Murkrow appeared. Ravio grabs his poke'ball and said. "Go! Murkrow!"
"Use peck!" Ravio shouted.
The wild Murkrow used Peck, but it's peck attack become much quicker than they thought. As a result the wild Murkrow took damage badly.
Ravio uses his poke'ball to catch it and he waits until the beep stops. And there he received his first new poke'mon.
"Well that was a fair cacth to me and let's head back to the Petalburg gym." Ravio said.
They went back to Petalburg gym to speak to Impa.
"Here's your poke'mon, I'm done catching my first poke'mon." Ravio said.
"Thank you my dear, Ravio you are really so sweet." Impa replied.
"Hehehe, You're welcome Impa." Ravio replied back to Impa with a laughing voice and also he is nice to Impa.
Ravio turns back and sees her mother named Hilda waiting outside of Petalburg gym.
"Hey! My mom is calling. I've gotta go!" Ravio said to Impa telling that her mother is here.
"Well anyway, in order to become the strongest trainer, You must collect the 8 badges in the Hoenn region." Impa talking to Link.
"But you're the gym leader. You must battle me." Link replied.
"Listen to me my dear. You will battle me later okay. Here I made a note. You must go to Rustboro city and challenge the gym leader. Sonic. Is that clear." Impa replied back to Link commanding to go to Rustboro city for his 1st gym battle and also giving him the note.
Link exits the gym and heads to the poke'mon center to heal his poke'mon and then went to Route 104 to fight the trainers.
