They both head to the poke'mon center and heals their poke'mon while Link swaps poke'mon at the P.C. he swaps Doublade to Clauncer then they leave poke'mon center and they start heading to Rusturf Tunnel to meet Inkling's friends but they saw street fighters trying to break a rock that is blocking the way.
"Hi trainer! Do you have a poke'mon that has a move named Rock Smash?" Ryu said to Link asking him if Link has any poke'mon that learned Rock Smash.
"Yeah! Why?" Link replied that one of his poke'mon learned Rock Smash and questioning him why.
"I need to break the rock that is blocking our way." Ryu replied back to Link that he needs to break the rock that is blocking the way.
"Yeah! Sure. I have my Blaziken with me that learns Rock Smash." Link replied back to Ryu that Blaziken learns a move named Rock Smash.
"Okay! Let's do it!" Ryu shouted after Link confirms the borrowing of Link's poke'mon.
"Blaziken! Come on out!" Link said senting out a Blaziken.
"Okay Blaziken! Use Rock Smash!" Ryu shouted.
Blaziken breaks the rock with Rock Smash and it worked.
"Yeah! We did it! We broke the rock that is blocking our way." Ryu said happily after he breaks the rock.
"Here take this!" Ryu said to Link receiving the Fighting Z move.
Link receives the Fighting Z move.
"Yeah! Thank you." Link said to Ryu cheerfully.
"Before we leave Rusturf tunnel, let's have a quick battle! Just a dual battle!" Ryu said to Link that he wants to battle him.
"Yeah! Sounds a great idea!" Link replied to Ryu accepting his challenge.
"Then let's fight hard!" Ryu replied back to Link and the battle starts with Link's opponent named Ryu.
"Lucario! Come on out!" Ryu said senting out a Lucario.
"Pidgeot! Go!" Link said senting out a Pidgeot.
"Lucario! Use Work Up!" Ryu shouted.
Lucario starts raising the Attack and Special attack stats itself then commands another attack.
"Use Quick Attack!" Ryu shouted once more.
Lucario starts attacking with Quick Attack but however...
"Pidgeot! Use Gust!" Link shouted back.
Pidgeot starts attacking with Gust and Lucario took major damage.
"Lucario! Use Power-up Punch!" Ryu shouted.
Lucario attacks with Power-up Punch and Pidgeot took minor damage only and Lucario's attack stats increased.
"Pidgeot! Use Twister!" Link shouted.
"Lucario! Use Detect!" Ryu shouted back.
Lucario evades the attack of Pidgeot and Link is really surprised.
"Hey! What was that move?" Link said surprising and telling Ryu what's that move.
"Detect can evade all the attacks that they are approaching." Ryu replied to Link that Detect can evade all the attack that they are approaching.
"Use Twister again!" Link shouted with the same move.
Pidgeot attacks with Twister and Lucario took damage.
"Woah! I never seen that coming! Use Power-up Punch!" Ryu shouted.
"I don't think so! Pidgeot! Use Twister!" Link shouted back with the same move again.
Pidgeot attacks with the same move and Lucario took damage again and fainted.
Link's poke'mon gained experience points.
Link defeated the poke'mon trainer Ryu.
"Well that was a great battle! Even if I lost!" Ryu said.
Link received $350 for winning.
"Well that's that! I'm leaving Rusturf Tunnel and head to Rustboro City." Ryu said to Link and leaves Rusturf Tunnel.
"Well, let's go Inkling, let's head to Petalburg City." Link said to Inkling leaving Rusturf tunnel amd heading to Petalburg City.
