Chapter 59-Arctic poke'mon gym

When he enters the gym, he sees the gym guide again and asks what's it's gym about.

Before he asks the gym guide what it is all about. He puts on his jacket along with the snow gloves that he bought from Mossdeep Space Center.

After he puts the jacket and the gloves that he bought from Mossdeep Space Center. He asks the gym guide what is all about.

"Hello there, trainer." The gym guide said.

"Hello there, so tell me why do I need the snow jacket and the snow gloves?" Link replied questioning why do he need the jacket and the gloves for what purpose.

"Okay. I'll tell you why trainer. This gym is full of Ice poke'mon and all the place is completely in Arctic. So you need a jacket and gloves because this place is completely cold." The gym guide replied back to Link the cause why does he need the jacket and the gloves in the gym.

"So anyway. This gym holds Ice type poke'mon. So the weakness in this gym is Fire and/or fighting type. Nothing else. And the bad news is. If you are using Grass, Rock, Ground, Flying, or Dragon type. They can freeze you down in one hit. So be careful and watch out for Frozen status too. Good luck."

The gym in Mossdeep City holds Ice type poke'mon which means the only weakness in this gym is Fire and/or Fighting type. Because Fire can melt down Ice while Fighting can smash Ice to pieces. And there resistance to that is Grass, Rock, Ground, Flying, and Dragon type. Because Ice can freeze living things around it.

"So the rules in this gym is to climb your way to the top which is the plateau and there are cold waters at the plateau too. So you have to swim there in order to proceed and make your way to the top in order to make your way to the gym leader."

The gym guide tells Link that the rules on this gym is to climb his way to the top and swim on cold water like obstacles in order to reach the gym leader. And Link asks another question where is the gym leader.

"Where's the gym leader?"

"On the top of the plateau."

"Okay. I get it now."

Link understands the gym guide's information and moves forward and starts climbing the plateau so that he can make his way to the top which is the gym leader. While he is making his way to the top of the plateau. He fights the first Ace trainer.

"Don't swim without putting thick grease on your skin." Preston said.

"Vanilluxe! Go!" Preston said senting out a Vanniluxe.

"Blaziken! Go!" Link said senting out a Blaziken.

"Blaziken! Use Fire Punch!" Link shouted.

Blaziken starts attacking with Fire Punch but, however...

"Vanilluxe! Use Mirror Shot!" Preston shouted back.

Vanniluxe lets loose a flash of energy at Blaziken from it's polished body and Blaziken's attack missed.

"Vanilluxe! Use Ice Beam!"

Vanilluxe sends an icy cold beam of energy to Blaziken and Blaziken took minor damage only.

"Blaziken! Use Sky Uppercut!"
