When he left Oceanic Museum he goes to Route 110 to go to his next city which is Mauville city and upon his journey he sees the trainer Isabel wanting to battle him.
"Hey trainer let's have a double battle." Isabel said happily.
"Oh sure." Link replied accepting her challenge.
This is the first time that he will get a double battle in one to one person form.
"Alright! Plusle, Minum. Take the stage." Isabel said happily senting out a Plusle and Minum.
"Mudbray! Liepard! Let's go!" Link said senting out a Mudbray and Liepard.
"Mudbray! Use Bulldoze!" Link shouted.
Mudbray shakes the ground with Bulldoze causing Plusle and Minum to took major damage. But the poke'fan Isabel isn't ready yet and said.
"Hey! How dare you attack immidietly! I wasn't ready yet!" Isabel said angrily to Link.
"Yo! Man just focus." Link replied.
"Okay! Then Plusle use Swift and Minum use Nuzzle!" Isabel shouted.
Minum attacjs with Nuzzle at Liepard and took damage but.
"Mudbray dodge it! And use Bulldoze!" Link shouted back.
Mudbray dodged the Swift that Plusle made then starts shaking the ground with Bulldoze that causes Plusle and Minum to took major damage in a critical hit and both of Isabel's poke'mon fainted.
Link's poke'mon gained experience points. Liepard grew to lv.21, Grubbin grew to lv.19 Grubbin wants to learn a new move named Aerobatics but Link dosen't want to learn that move to Grubbin so Aerobatics will be cancelled. Mudbray grew to lv.17, Ralts grew to lv.19.
Link defeated the poke'fan Isabel.
"Hey I wasn't ready at all." Isabel said sadly.
Link received $200 for winning.
Link goes to a tall grass and encounters a wild Clauncer.
Link grabs his poke'ball and sents out a Grubbin.
"Grubbin! Go!" Link said senting out a Grubbin.
"Use Spark!" Link shouted.
Grubbin attacks with Spark causing Grubbin to took major damage in a critical hit. And then Link grabs a poke'ball in order to catch Clauncer so he throws at it and waits for the beep to stop... And the Clauncer was now owned by Link and it was sent to the P.C. because his team can only fit up to six.
Link's poke'mon gained experience points.
Link moves on and the Youngster wants to battle him.
"Let's have a battle with my three poke'mon." Timmy said.
"Yeah! Let's do it!" Link replied to Timmy accepting his challenge.
"Psyduck! I choose you!" Timmy said senting out a Psyduck.
"Go! Grubbin!" Link said senting out a Grubbin.
"Grubbin! Use Spark!" Link shouted.
"Dodge it! Then use..." Timmy said but Psyduck got hit by the Spark attack.
"Again!" Link shouted with the same move.
"Dodge it Quick!" Timmy shouted back.
Psyduck dodge the Spark quickly and began to attack by Timmy's command.
"Use Water Gun!" Timmy shouted.
Psyduck spits Water Gun at Grubbin but however...
"No! Use String Shot!" Link shouted back.
