"Well, here we are at Mauville City. On the east is Route 118, which you need to use Surf to access it's path to Fortree City." Ravio said.
"Then let's go then." Link replied to Ravio that they will now go to Fortree City.
"But before that, let's have a battle." Ravio said that he will battle him before they go to Fortree City.
"Really." Link replied asking him really.
"Don't be so jealous, let me heal your poke'mon." Ravio replied back to Link asking him not to be jealous and healing Link's poke'mon.
Ravio heals Link's poke'mon using his potions then starts the battle with Link.
"Lanturn! Come on out!" Ravio said senting out a Lanturn.
"Gatdevoir! Come on out!" Link said senting out a Gardevoir.
"Gardevoir! Use Magical Leaf!" Link shouted.
"Lanturn! Use Bubble!" Ravio shouted back.
Lanturn starts attacking with Bubble but failed because the Magical Leaf is was fast and took major damage.
"Thunderwave! Lanturn!" Ravio shouted.
Lanturn starts using Thunderwave and Gardevoir got paralyzed.
"Now use Water Gun!" Ravio shouted once more.
"Dodge it!" Link shouted back.
Gardevoir failed to dodge the attack of Lanturn because it is paralyzed and Gardevoir took damage.
"Again!" Ravio shouted with the same move.
"Gardevoir! Use Magical Leaf!" Link shouted back.
Gardevoir attacks with Magical Leaf and Lanturn took major damage.
"Again!" Ravio shouted with the same move once more.
"Use Magical Leaf! Again!" Link shouted back with the same move too.
Gardevoir attacks with the same move and Lanturn took major damage and fainted.
Link's poke'mon gained experience points.
"Lanturn! Return!" Ravio said to Lanturn returning to a poke'ball.
"Solrock! Go!" Ravio said senting out a Solrock.
"Gardevoir! Use Magical Leaf!" Link shouted.
Gardevoir attacks with Magical Leaf but however...
"Use Psychic!" Ravio shouted back.
Solrock starts using Psychic at Gardevoir and both poke'mon took damage. But there's a difference Solrock took major damage because of a Grass attack that Gardevoir sent.
"Use Magical Leaf! Again!" Link shouted with the same move.
Gardevoir attacks with Magical Leaf and Solrock took major damage.
"Solrock! Use Shadow Ball!" Ravio shouted.
Solrock starts attacking with Shadow Ball and Gardevoir took major damage.
"Gardevoir! Use Magical Leaf again!" Link shouted with the same move once more.
"Dodge it! And Use Shadow Ball!" Ravio shouted back with the same move.
Solrock dodge the attack of Gardevoir then starts attacking with Shadow Ball and Gardevoir took major damage.
"Again!" Link shouted with the same move twice.
Gardevoir starts attacking with Magical Leaf and Solrock took major damage and fainted.
Link's poke'mon gained experience points. Gardevoir grew to lv.45, and Clauncer grew to lv.35.
"Return anyway, Solrock!" Ravio said to Solrock returning to a poke'ball.
"You too! Gardevoir, get some rest." Link said to Gardevoir returning to a poke'ball.
"Honchkrow! Go!" Ravio said senting out a Honchkrow.
"Clauncer! Come on out!" Link said senting out a Clauncer.
"Clauncer! Use Sword Dance!" Link shouted.
Clauncer sends a striking spirit and raises the attack of Clauncer then Link commands another attack.
"Use Crabhammer!" Link shouted once more.
"Wing Attack! Honchkrow!" Ravio shouted back.
Honchkrow starts attacking with Wing Attack and Clauncer took damage.
"Clauncer! Use Bubble Beam!" Link shouted.
Clauncer starts attacking with Bubble beam and Honchkrow took damage.
"Then use Crabhammer!" Link shouted once more.
Clauncer attacks with Crabhammer and Honchkrow took damage.
"Pursuit it! Clauncer!" Ravio shouted.
"Clauncer! Use Water Pulse!" Link shouted back.
Clauncer starts using Water Pulse and Honchkrow took damage and fainted.
Link's poke'mon gained experience points. Clauncer grew to lv.36.
Link defeated the poke'mon trainer Ravio.
"That was a great battle! Even though I lost." Ravio said.
Link received $500 for winning.
"Well... What are you waiting for, let's head to Route 118." Link said.
"Yeah! Let me heal your poke'mon first." Ravio replied.
Ravio heals Link's poke'mon and even his own poke'mon then they proceed to Route 118.
