Chapter 6-Let's train part 2

"Hello challenger. I'm just a newbie. Can I challenge you?" Cindy said nicely.

"Sure." Link replied.

"Sentret! Go!" Cindy said senting out a Sentret.

"Torchic! Go!" Link said senting out a Pidgey.

"Pidgey! Use tackle!" Link shouted.

"Use tackle too! Cindy shouted back.

Sentret's tackle completely attacked Pidgey and Pidgey took damage.

"Use tackle again!" Link shouted with the same move.

"You too! Sentret! Cindy shouted back with the same move too.

Pidgey's tackle completely attacked Sentret but this time it is a critical hit and it's a one hit K.O. to Sentret. So Sentret fainted.

Link's poke'mon gained experience points.

Pidgey grew to lv. 8, Grubbin grew to lv.4, Grubbin learns a new move String Shot. Ralts grew to lv.5 and learns a new move named Confusion.

Link defeated Lady Cindy.

"Oh wonderful. That was amazing. But nah it's okay. I'll just have to keep practicing." Cindy said.

Link received $130 for winning.

Link heals his poke'mon with potions and encounters another trainer while he's on his way to the bridge where Rustboro city lies north.

"Hello trainer ready for the battle test?" Haley said.

"Yes, But you will fail the battle test." Link replied.

"Then let see who loses. Abra! I choose you!" Haley said senting out an Abra.

"Woah!! This girl has a psychic poke'mon. But okay. Then Pidgey! I choose you!" Link said surprisingly when he sees an Abra. Then sents out a Pidgey.

"Pidgey! Use Tackle!" Link shouted.

"Abra! Use Taunt!" Haley shouted back.

Pidgey's Tackle hit Abra and Abra took damage.

"Use Sand Attack!" Link shouted.

Pidgey's Sand Attack didn't work because Abra used Taunt at Pidgey causing to prevent using any moves that causes stat changes.

"Wait! What just happened?!" Link said exclaiming why the Sand Attack of Pidgey didn't work.

"The Taunt prevents using moves that have stats effects." Haley replied explaining to Link how the Taunt works.

"Now my turn! Abra use Foul Play!" Haley shouted to Abra as a command of an attack.

Abra's Foul Play damaged Pidgey and it is about to faint.

"C'mon Pidgey I know you can do it!" Link said to Pidgey trying to get up.

Pidgey gets up in battle and it is still focused on the battle progress even if Pidgey is about to faint.

"Yeah! That's the spirit! Now use Tackle once again!" Link shouted.

Pidgey attacks with Tackle and Abra took damage and fainted.

Link's poke'mon gained experience points.

"Well done Abra. You did great." Haley said to Abra returning to a poke'ball.

"Rockruff! Let's do our best in fighting the trainer." Haley said senting out a Rockruff.

"Use Tackle!" Link shouted.

"Dodge it!" Haley shouted back.

Rockruff dodged Pidgey's Tackle and began to attack as Haley shouts to Rockruff.

"Rockruff! Use Bite!" Haley shouted once more.

Rockruff starts using bite to Pidgey and it hurts Pidgey. And the bad news is Pidgey fainted.

"Pidgey! You did a great job. Get some rest." Link said to Pidgey returning to a poke'ball.

"Ralts! Come on out!" Link said senting out a Ralts.

"Use Confusion!" Link shouted.

"Dodge it!" Haley shouted back.

Rockruff's dodge failed and took damage.

"One more time!" Link shouted once more with the same attack.

"Dodge it again!" Haley shouted back.

Rockruff's dodge failed again and took damage and it is about to faint.

"C'mon Rockruff get up!" Haley said to Rockruff trying to get up.

Rockruff tried to get up but failed so Rockruff fainted.

Link's poke'mon gained experience points.

Ralts grew to lv.7 and Torchic grew to lv.12 Ralts learns a new move named Double Team.

Link defeated the Lass Haley.

"Oops. I failed my battle test. I'm going to need to practice alot." Haley said.

Link got $60 for winning.

Link crosses the bridge and heads to Rustboro city for his gym battle. But first he needs to go to the Poke'mon center of Rustboro city to heal his poke'mon.
