Link heals his poke'mon with potions then starts sneaking on a wild poke'mon that Edwin told him but it was interrupted by Zelda.
"Hello Link, Long time no see... I hope your happy." Zelda said happily with a greeting voice.
"Ummm... What do you want?" Link replied murmuring.
"Let's have a battle!" Zelda replied back that she wants to battle him.
"No!" Link replied back angrily rejecting Zelda's challenge.
"Please!" Zelda replied back worrying three times.
"Okay fine." Link replied back accepting the challenge but he is a bit worried when he says that.
"Yeah! That's the spirit!" Zelda replied back happily that Link accepts the challenge.
The battle against Zelda begins.
"Fomantis! Let's go!" Zelda said senting out a Fomantis.
"Go! Combusken!" Link said senting out a Combusken.
"Use Flame Charge!" Link shouted.
Combusken starts attacking with Flame Charge but however...
"Use Leafage!" Zelda shouted back.
The attack of Fomantis failed and Fomantis took major damage because the Flame Charge that Combusken made was too fast.
"Again!" Link shouted with the same move.
"Fomantis dodge it!" Zelda shouted back.
Fomantis dodged the Flame Charge that Combusken made then Zelda commands another move.
"Use Double Team!" Zelda shouted once more.
It creates multiple Fomantis causing Link and his Combusken to start confusing where the main target is.
"What I've never see that coming. then use Flame Charge!" Link said when sees multiple Fomantis in the battlefield then shouted at Combusken as a command of an attack.
Combusken starts attacking with Flame Charge but the attack missed due to Double Team and Fomantis attacks by the command of Zelda.
"Use Razor Leaf!" Zelda shouted.
"Dodge all that Razor Leaf!" Link shouted back.
Combusken dodged all the Razor Leaf that Fomantis made but it damaged Combusken minorly.
"Use Flame Charge!" Link shouted.
Combusken starts attacking with Flame Charge causing Fomantis to took major damage.
"Fomantis! Use Leafage!" Zelda shouted.
"Use Flame Charge again!" Link shouted back with the same move.
Combusken attacks with the same move which leads to Fomantis to took major damage again and it is about to faint.
"Fomantis get up!" zelda said to fomantis trying to get up.
Fomantis tried to get up but failed so Fomantis fainted.
Link's poke'mon gained experience points. Mudbray grew to lv.20, Charjabug grew to lv.22, Pidgeotto grew to lv.22 and it wants to learn a new move named Twister but it is full of move ssts so Link confirms that Tackle should be removed and replace it with a new one named Twister.
"Well done Fomantis return to your poke'ball." Zelda said to Fomantis returning to a poke'ball.
"Combusken! Return!" Link said to Combusken returning to a poke'ball.
"Marshtomp! Go!" Zelda said senting out a Marshtomp.
"Kirlia! Go!" Link said senting out a Kirlia.
"Well I guess it's attack I will command to Kirlia is Magical Leaf!" Link said then shouted as he commencing Kirlia to attack.
"Okay Marshtomp use Scald!" Zelda shouted back.
Marshtomp sends a Scald attack to Kirlia causing the Magical Leaf that Kirlia made to disable and taking minor damage to Kirlia as well. But Link is not giving up and commands Kirlia an attack.
"Use Magical Leaf again!" Link shouted with the same move.
"Use Scald again!" Zelda shouted back with the same move.
The attack of Marshtomp failed and took major damage.
"Just one more time Kirlia use Magical Leaf!" Link shouted with the same move again.
"Dodge it then use Water Gun!" Zelda shouted back.
Marshtomp dodged the Magical Leaf that Kirlia made and then starts using Water Gun at Kirlia causing Kirlia to took minor damage.
"Again!" Link shouted with the same move thrice.
Kirlia attacks with same move thrice causing Marshtomp to took major damage in a critical hit and fainted.
Link's poke'mon gained experience points. Combusken grew to lv.25 and it wants to learn a new move named Quick Attack but it is full of move sets but Link refuses to learn that move because all his move sets are really good so Combusken did not learn Quick Attack.
"Marshtomp! Return!" Zelda said to Marshtomp returning to a poke'ball.
"Kirlia! Return!" Link said to Kirlia returning to a poke'ball.
"Ralts! Come on out!" Zelda said senting out a Ralts.
"Liepard! Go!" Link said senting out a Liepard.
"Use Pursuit!" Link shouted.
"Use Confusion!" Zelda shouted back.
Ralts sends a Confusion attack to Liepard and took minor damage and Liepard became confused.
"Liepard use Pursuit!" Link shouted with the same move.
"Ralts use Magical Leaf!" Zelda shouted back.
Liepard's attack is a success and it is a one hit K.O. to Ralts so Ralts fainted.
Link's poke'mon gained experience points. Liepard grew to lv.22 and it wants to learn a new move named Fake Out but it is full of move sets so Link confirms that Tackle should be removed and replace it with a new one named Fake Out. Charjabug grew to lv.23.
Link defeated the poke'mon trainer Zelda.
"Well that sounds strange but it's okay I'll just have to practice a lot." Zelda said.
Link received $300 for winning.
"Well farewell trainer I am heading to Mauville City gym as well." Zelda said riding her bike.
"Wait up! Zelda! I'm going to Mauville City gym too." Link replied to Zelda following her and running.
